I think you are overestimating that tablet CPU the last gen consoles have. I don't think a single 60fps pro/one x version of any game actually runs at a stable 60.
Makes more sense than Kratos
I'd rather they make better games instead of this pandering.
1440p is more important than this at the moment.
Even though I am not hindered by this because I own a 4k TV for my PS4/5 (and a 1440p monitor), this is absolute bull. 1080p on 1440p screens looks horrible because of uneven pixel scaling and without supporting the 1440p output on the console itself, many people who use 1440p monitors are getting shafted with their experience.
This is on Sony, they SHOULD support 1440p because it is not an uncommon resolution anymore. It can't be that hard.
I would hope so because the new engine is the best thing that has happened to CoD in quite some time.
I am going to skip it completely because it does not look that fun to be honest.
I have the first and second one and honestly, none of the mechanics are done well enough - the sound mixing is horrible, driving is less than mediocre and the voice acting devolves the experience even further. I even like the first one more, but driving in that one is even worse.
Well... It is a games console after all.
skip
I assume so as well, but it all depends on the approach they went with for performance - lower res & ray tracing or higher res & no ray tracing. I'd be perfectly fine with 1080p 60 ray traced or 1440p 60 ray traced if they can muster it, but I would not bet on it.
in the end, I already got the Platinum for the game so I won't be playing it again, I ask out of curiosity, nothing else.
Seems like they have some issues with shadows in the PS5 version. Also, is ray tracing disabled on PS5 performance mode? Buildings still seem to have reflection maps.
You'd be a fool to prefer a remaster over a remake.
I thought nothing happened on Tiananmen Square...
I'm pretty sure you need to care about something for it to be good.
Battlefield 3 2
Wait, I'm a bit out of the loop.
Other than it being demanding (which is understandable considering how it looks), what are the other performance issues?
Sounds more like a router/connection issue.
Didn't they restrict inputs for crossplay? IE you can only play with console players if you set your control scheme to gamepads.
Nothing DMC related is cool.
MGSV is not nearly as CPU intensive, Apex legends was far from stable 60fps (and is also using Source engine and dropping to 720p at times, which is the definition of an "old ass engine"), the new Modern Warfare also ran at a pretty unstable framerate across the board in Warzone and Gears, again, is not CPU intensive in MP. The main bottleneck for 60fps was the CPU. One X has a better gpu than Series S, but everything runs worse on it because of the CPU.
