Mother of fuck, I want DX12 ASAP.
I for one think that this shouldn't happen, MGS1 should be left as it is. It's perfect.
After finishing both of them, they're pretty much the same. It's just that it takes a while for Unity to become interesting. Rogue on the other hand, it's good from the start.
Rogue is still my personal favorite out of them two, though.
Battlefield Hardline is the most fun I've had in a Battlefield game since Bad Company 2. I like it so far.
Visceral are really good at their job. I hope Hardline succeeds and I also hope I'll get to see a new Dead Space game soon!
I'm still playing MK9. Can't wait for X.
It's not bad news for Sony because they really didn't make much money out of the MMO games.
It's not bad news for SOE because they're not being shut down, they're continuing operation under a different publisher.
It's not bad news for Xbox One owners because now they get more games.
It's not bad news for PS4 owners because they're not losing any games.
It's not bad for PC players because th...
To quote a guy I met in-game - "This game is fucking amazing!"
What's the spin? I said it's big news and at the same time not bad news for anyone.
Yes, I will.
Considering Planetside 2 only recently became profitable, I can see why Sony sold the studio. The F2P scene is not really profitable, with many F2P game developers closing their doors (Zombie studios).
SOE was only a financial burden to Sony and with current-gen games milking millions out of them, they had to get rid of them.
It's big news, but not necessarily bad news for anyone involved.
The grass is always greener on the other side.
This looks good. Really good. I'd like to point out that I have complete faith that Hardline will be fun because Visceral Games are the ones responsible for the best DLC in BF3.
They know their shit.
I see. It still seems like a great card though, perfect for 1080p. The 960 is a missed opportunity though, but it left an opening for a 960Ti. Here's hoping.
So, what's the official result of the investigation about the memory usage?
I've seen people with 970s posting screenshots with >3.5GB usage in games without any issues whatsoever.
What's the deal guys?
Too late for that. If they were to update the PS4 API soon, they'd need Ubisoft to make changes to AC Unity to properly use the improvements they've made.
They don't have to rewrite the entire OpenGL API. Only their rendition which only they are responsible for, so I see similar improvements being made for the PS4 API as we speak.
That level of performance improvement will be exclusive to PC I'm afraid.
DX11 is a major bottleneck to object rendering and has limited the complexity of objects drawn on screen for a long time on PC. Console APIs don't bottleneck, the only bottleneck is the hardware itself.
Just to ask, what's so different in Gears Judgment compared to other Gears of War games? I've yet to play Judgment.
Oh yeah, they'll boycott it, sure.
This article makes no sense to me.
