Rockstar has Rockstar Games Social Club. With every version of the game you'll have to sign in/create a RGSC account.
I bought Max Payne 3 through Steam, had to make a RGSC account with it, so think of RGSC the official "version", and if you get it through Steam it'll just integrate Steam on top of RGSC. All are safe to mod.
Wasn't it confirmed to have a Q1 2015 PC release?
Yeah, you can put those hopes to rest..
Fighting games on keyboard aren't bad at all. What the hell are you talking about?
It's the same thing, 8 directional movement, 4 main attack buttons. You're at no disadvantage with a keyboard compared to a controller. In fact, I'm better at Mortal Kombat with a keyboard than a controller, and I've got plenty of controllers to choose from.
Get your facts straight.
MGS4 is really an emotional masterpiece throughout. Especially the ending. I admit, the cutscenes can sometimes drag on, but it's a masterpiece allright. You don't really need to sneak around if you don't want to. You can shoot your way through everything if that's what you wish, but that's sometimes much, much harder than to slip by unnoticed.
Also, don't remove Red Dead Redemption from the list as Fez said, it's one of the greatest games of the P...
Try MGS4 or Red Dead Redemption.
Yeah, because it's being released again and again and again and again.
It's not necessarily a bad thing considering Rockstar has it's own platform so to speak. Rockstar Games Social Club is included in every release they had since GTA IV and Steam would just be another DRM overlay on top of the game.
Sucks for the people who like to show off their Steam game library, but it's a good thing.
Well if I'm mistaken then good, it can only get better.
I've chosen the bare minimum of what to expect, so it's worst case scenario - which is it'll run about the same as GTA IV. I do believe most people will be CPU limited, however. It's par for the course with titles as detailed as GTA.
Even 30-50fps is better than the 15-30 I have on the 360.
Whether this is true or not, I seriously doubt most people will be able to play it on max @ 60fps without a beast CPU and a GPU the likes of the GTX 970/980.
I suspect I'd be somewhere between 30-50fps with a 760 and an i5 3570k.
I wouldn't count on it. :/
It'll still run fine on most configurations. It's better to overestimate the requirements than to underestimate them.
I guess a lot of the people who played Unity would like to see more than 15fps :)
The PS4 a high end PC? Not with that tablet CPU and barely mid-range GPU.
Oh well then all is forgiven. Oh wait. No. It isn't.
And it honestly makes no difference.
I call bullshit. The PS4 version is 45GB in size. No way in hell the PC version would be 20. Also, a C2D E8200 as minimum? In 2008, maybe.
Umm.. that's just Crysis 1.. It never was open world, it was always linear, just large in scale. It's the same game as on PC minus the flying level.
I have a GTX 760, an i5 3570k and 6GB of RAM. Performance is acceptable, mostly above 40fps.
However, the framerate gets into the low teens on some of the missions. For instance, the mission with the exploding warehouse - 20fps, whatever the hell for I don't know. The Marie Somethingsomething assassination in her palace is even worse - the moment I step inside I get sub 15fps. That bothers me, to be honest. A lot.
I don't know man, Gears of War 3 and Judgment look pretty good.
On PC I believe the best looking UE3 title is Bioshock Infinite. Maybe even The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
