They've been over since the day they decided they don't need Kojima anymore. All there's left now is PES. Which, ironically, is using Kojima's FOX engine..
I agree this is good for the modders because they can now get something for their hard work (those who actually worked hard on their mods).
However, this is not the way to support them. Building a pay wall in front of something is NEVER a good idea! I agree with the statement above, a donate button is a much better solution. It's a way to keep both sides happy, with modders getting rewarded for their work while still allowing everyone to experience mods for free.

Well that sucks donkey balls.
Dude, if you want to reduce stuttering, force Vsync off in Catalyst Control Center.
I've done it on my GTX 760, Sky Temple is literally 90% smooth now. The reason it stutters like hell is because the game either forces a 60fps lock or a 30fps lock. Sky Temple is very, very particle heavy and that affects performance. I can push 60fps in every map but Sky Temple, which runs at an average of 56fps. That means that the middle area of the map runs below 60fps, and the game c...
I haven't actually modded Skyrim at all because I don't like the game very much. I gave it a shot twice, and twice I was unimpressed.
I'm not an RPG kind of guy. There are only three in existence I like. Dark Souls 1, 2 and Fable The Lost Chapters.
Kudos for trying, but nothing can make me like Skyrim I'm afraid.
Also, people, graphics don't mean pretty pictures. The way the world looks in motion is more important than bullshots and screengrabs.
RAGE engine FTW.
Oh god no, whatever mods Skyrim may have, the animations are so freaking stiff in that game it's one of the strongest deterrents from it in my case.
And the comparison is absolutely unfair - tons of mods vs vanilla. If you want to be fair, compare Skyrim with GTA IV modded. Or vanilla Skyrim to GTA V. Let's see that precious Skyrim win then.
If it's a problem for pirates, it's a problem for legitimate digital version owners as well.
Plus, there are repacks for games at around half or even third the size of the original release.
Basically, some pirate releases have their "fat trimmed".
WHAT FUCKING ISSUES
I welcome them. I need more games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne. And I don't even like RPGs.
If they don't muck it up like everything else they do.
You'd still have to do or be something that will make you stand out from the rest.
Thus we have Angry Joe, Shortfuse Jaffe, Cynical Totalbiscuit and Yahtzee etc.
All they basically do is try to stand out, irrelevant of their opinions.
It's also not even a full step up from a GTX 760, so I'd get that on the Nvidia side if you're short on money instead of the 960.
On the AMD side, 280x or bust.
They really failed with the 9 series. The 970 should have been the 960, the 980 the 970 and the Titan X the new 980. That would have made more sense and we would get a real generational step up in performance.
The thing is, most people still have 60Hz monitors and 60fps is still a standard.
Just relax dude. It's not important.
I believe there is a misunderstanding on your part.
RE5 PC always had LAN coop.
It never had an official split-screen coop mode. Thus, a third party mod enabling split-screen coop was made which simply re-enabled the leftover code. It wasn't completely cut out, it was just disabled.
A third party split-screen coop mod for RE5 is available for years now. Capcom are just lazy as fuck.
RE6 had a perfectly functional split-screen coop mode though, so it's blatantly obvious that they are just lazy and didn't want to spend the time to implement it.
And then PS3, Xbox 360, PS4, Xbox One, PC and so on and so on.
@darthv
True, but you can't really expect someone to do justice to Kojima's games. They are unique, they are eccentric as is he. No, if MGS goes into different hands, I do not believe it will ever reach the same heights basically every Kojima MGS game has.
Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut?
No space battles yet so they can milk more money out of it as DLC. Mark my words. That's why Battlefield games start with 8 maps and finish with 16. They sell half the game for the full price and then charge you extra to have the complete package. And a boxcutter knife.
