It got mediocre? Compared to what?
around the 800$ mark, probably.
Kind of like what they did with the 290X.
Maybe AMD takes it a step further and spoils the 980Ti launch with a SuperFiji. But nah, a step too far.
So, is there an offline component at all?
If so, yaarrrrrr!
Also, Google translate writes better english.
Goodie.
Proprietary is sometimes better than open-source. No one can nor should blame Nvidia for Hairworks and Gameworks.
The reason why Hairworks runs crappier on AMD hardware is because it depends a lot on tessellation, which Nvidia does better (GPUs have better tessellators).
AMD users can fix this by forcing the tessellation level in CCC to x16 instead of x64, which Hairworks uses by default. There, optimization done.
Do explain.
Looks like Frostbite engine to me.
Tessellation is a hardware feature. There are no software bottlenecks. Nvidia cards have better tessallators.
What AMD drivers suck at, though, are draw calls.
All this over one setting ingame.. Sigh.
Kojima probably doesn't want to end up being a mobile game developer. That's what's up.
The man has been waiting for ages to have the hardware to support his ideas, and now that the wait is finally over, Konami goes bananas.
I'd tell 'em to fuck off.
They seem to want to go bankrupt.
If it's in a format like 24, I'll like it.
Problems for AMD users? Intel users? What? Since when?
I've had AMD cards before as well as Nvidia cards prior to the GTX 760 I have now and I had ZERO issues in any and every Gameworks enabled title I've played.
I don't understand which Intel users you're referring to, because as far as I can tell, Intel iGPUs can't do crap and Intel CPUs are still top of the line.
Plus, judging by benchmarks, AMD cards beat out Nvidia ca...
I fail to see the problem in anything Nvidia related. What did you mean?
And the fistfighting and combat tempo. The rest of it is pretty much Unity right down to the freaking animations.
And I hate the grappling hook thingy. They should have just made parkour faster.
Dude, I get the frustration with paid mods that are tiny compared to this.
But Black Mesa deserves all the money it can get. It's a passion project for the devteam and it has been for years now. It's a fully fledged remake of a game (IT'S A COMPLETE GAME - soon).
Out of all "mods", this one deserves money.
You know why it doesn't matter? Because CDProjekt RED is a respected development team. Because they're always upfront, they don't try to screw over customers and most of all the quality of games is top notch.
I have tons of respect for them and I don't even like The Witcher.
Gaming was better when it didn't have such a huge market. Oh how the quality has dropped..
Got huge gains in Far Cry 4 as well. Might actually finish it now.
