I know exactly what you mean. This is a silly place at times. In the same day I was flamed in PM's for being an "Xbot", for wanting the 360 to die, and for lying that my 60GB PS3 YLOD'd. The first two were for exactly the same post, and the last one was someone who thought I was trying to "discredit" Sony by artificially inflating YLOD numbers. And my comment was saying how nice Dean from Sony was when I called in with a broken system.

Well, IGN can say whatever they want to say. I played my PS3 and 360 pretty much equally this year. My Wii also got a workout.
Mass Effect 2 was great back in January, and I enjoyed that. I also enjoyed Crackdown 2, but I was clearly in the minority. I picked up Red Dead Redemption on the 360 as well. On my PS3 I played Heavy Rain, 3D Dot Game Heroes and Gran Turismo 5. The Wii had Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Donkey Kong Country returns.

More opinion than news, really. And it really doesn't matter a whole lot. Motion control is here to stay, at least for the remainder of this generation.
I'm glad that Uncharted is what it is. It's a great game. I think people assume too often that it is the bar that others are trying to reach. I'd like to think that most games can stand on their own without having to be compared, often unfairly, to Uncharted. There were great third-party action games long before Uncharted.

Some games on that list that are also coming out for PC. I thought it was supposed to be exclusives. Unless they mean console exclusive, which many here will argue that there is no such thing.

I normally don't preorder since there's typically enough copies available around here on release day for me to get a one. The only way I do is if there's a special pre-order bonus.

That's true. There aren't a lot of new 360 games out there to look forward to. Milking the existing IP's with sequels and a handful of Arcade titles, but that's about it. Everything else is multiplat.
Kinect is where the exclusives will be.
I'm not sure what hate you're talking about. Is it this review? Or just the general vitriol that the Forza versus Gran Turismo crowd has been spouting for years?
If it's this review, then I'm curious. It seems fair and accurate to me. GT5 is an excellent game, but it isn't perfect and people are having a hard time with that. What's worse is that when someone says it isn't perfect they get bashed for being a nitpicker.
