Yes! If you like action / adventure sandbox games then this is one you'll enjoy. I recommend it.
IRC reports? That's funny. IRC is full of internets superheroes who talk the big talk. But much shorter on the action.
Sony has retaken the upper hand here and outfits like fail0verflow are back to square one, unless they're planning to stay on 3.55 forever.
Closer to opinion than anything else. Interesting conclusions, but definitely could use some proofreading.
That's like 8 months for me.
The PS3 needs a feature that creates more hours in the day. That way I can actually play all of these games.
I've never heard of the game. Is it worth buying?
I just install the latest firmware and go on with life. These guys created their own problems.
The user review system on Metacritic is so jacked up that those reviews are meaningless anyway. Still, this is pretty lame. I guess that it's hard to accept that your efforts resulted in a lame end product. Too bad, really.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Japan. I hope the nation heals quickly and that the people get the help that they so desperately need. Games seem so insignificant right now.
I know what you mean. People with vision issues that affect depth perception don't benefit from this technology. It's more common than people realize and it is one of the main roadblocks to 3D becoming mainstream. As long as the option to turn it off is there I'll be happy. Not because it is bad, but because I can't watch it for more than a few minutes.
That's too bad.
I don't understand the comment that neither Microsoft, Sony nor Nintendo have lasted an entire generation. Nintendo has seen more generations than Sony and this is Microsoft's second.
Nintendo may not have sold the most consoles in the previous two generations, but they have been profitable. It's not selling the most that makes a success. It is making enough money to justify entering the race. Please try to keep it in perspective.
Yep, people don't want to accept that there are still lots of core games to play on 360. It doesn't seem to matter whether the games are exclusive or not, people are buying 360's. So the market sees value in the platform.
Yes, PS3 has more exclusive titles. Many of them are games that I want to play. But if I didn't have a PS3 there is still a large and compelling library on 360 that I could be happy with.
Folks need to accept that 360 has d...
I'm ready for another GTA.
Red Dead Redemption was a good open world game and it came out In 2010. Did you mean crime games?
I have PS3, 360 and Wii and I have a pretty decent experience on them all. It's not stupid to want the best overall experience, and you don't get that if you limit yourself to a single console experience.
What's stupid is judging other people for their decisions that have no impact on you. That's what makes you a fool.
Yep.
Tons of games come with release day patches and nobody complains, especially for exclusives. We've come to accept this in the current generation. I don't see how it is different with this game.
Also, caveat emptor. I've stopped buying games on release day because I want to make sure that things work as expected when I put my money down. If more people waited to buy these companies might get the message that shipping glitches isn't acceptable. Otherwise they b...
There's no such thing as free speech on private forums. Vote with your wallet if you want to be heard.
Cloud gaming? How does that relate with number of studios? Someone still needs to make the games Unless you're saying that the only way that the 360 will remain viable is if it is a thin client for PC games streamed via broadband. Which at this point isn't really necessary, but might be a nice option.
