Ohhh, here it goesssssss!
Time to debate numbers, instead of being happy we have games to play, all around.
Well, thankfully, Sony seems to not be looking at this as a "race".
Competition tends to breed innovation. If Sony can take an existing idea, and improve it for gamers/users, why not? PS Plus was a welcomed addition. As long as the focus improves the quality, and doesn't hamper it.
Sony aren't jumping straight in with rival tech, or concepts. It seems they're slowing planning their route to the end. Sure, it could backfire, but so far.. ...
Again? Well of course he thinks that. It would generally equate to more income for them. But there are a number of reasons why it just can't go totally digital. And most users seem to have firmly established that.
But mainly:
1. Internet connections - Internet companies already cap, or lie about speeds in most cases. Even then, not many in the world are open to the idea of always buying things, you can't really 'own'.
2. Too m...
What is going on? Sure job losses aren't really news, as they happen daily. But it seems something is about to kick off at Valve (or already has).
Not sure if its right to count out the next Xbox, since there is no announcement yet. However, its somewhat true. Microsoft needs to regain its focus (gaming wise). Yes, they aren't just a gaming company. But thats a part of their business. If they don't step it up with the next edition, it could be a lot more costly. Since they may lose a big chunk of users to rivals.
Only time will tell, what happens next.
If it wins... something is wrong. But that's what happens when you put 'randoms' in charge of awards.
Yeah, me and my friends want to grab this. However, we can't justify the price. Games are too expensive to just simply go out and buy for the sake of it.
MP is a huge aspect, but quality should be applied across all sectors. On the other hand, everyone plays games differently. So I would use that as an average, rather than an accurate means of measurement.
Vita needs more titles, across the world. It needs sequels of titles the PSP had (or even improved remakes), and new ones too.
Bundles and a price drop, might help. But I think it boils down to the support behind it. Once Sony improve that, sales will pick up.
Not disputing it, but no one has seen what other competitors have to offer yet. It's far too soon.
Plus, I think everyone would be happy if it simply just equated to better games all around, no?
It is. For Europe.
Put out a good quality demo, sales will follow. Poor attempt to justify sloppy work.
The only game I've heard females mention when I was in school was.. yes, you guessed it. Call of Duty.
Each time a new one comes out, they would claim they'll be getting it/playing it. However, if you tried to talk on that level (not even in depth) you'd probably get laughed at. Or bullied, to a degree.
I stopped paying attention to those type of 'women' a long time ago.
I don't think that's a case isolated to women only.
It's more to do with businesses hiring those not interested in the products being sold/spoken about. Happens quite a bit in the UK. I remember when a newspaper printed that Uncharted 2 was coming on Xbox.
Companies in general, need to sort that out.
Cloud Storage - possible, if done correctly.
Cloud Gaming - It will fall to preference. I prefer having my discs. Others might pick otherwise. I would assume it would impact the DLC costs, and how DLC comes into play though. So who knows?
Will be interesting to see the path it goes down.
How so?
It's not an action exclusive to Nintendo. Many companies do this, when sales aren't as strong as they had anticipated. Nintendo are simply doing what they consider is best for their business.
If you buy a console early, you do it because you're satisfied with the cost, and feel theirs value for money.
Complain? Sure, but there's a pretty strong justification behind it. Rather than what most seem to think is.. "the hate wagon". Plus... lol. Why would people not care? The series was extremely enjoyable (for most) back at COD4. I just don't get why companies dodge focusing on enhancing features, that make games good, to apply new ones.. which change it up completely (and not always for the best).
Yes, partly, its down to gamers. They put so much money out bu...
Woah.
Hoping for a bundle. This is one of the games I want a Vita for.
Why would they? COD probably isn't doing as well as they would like/expect. However, it's a recent launch. Give it some time for the base to grow even further.
Hopefully, Nintendo has some good stuff in the works.
I'm interested to see what both Microsoft, and Sony have to show.
Both will have an effect on the industry, as most should already know. Pricing will be high on the list though.
