I don't agree with his positioning, but the name calling was not necessary. Then again, it's the internet. Why be surprised.
I'm sure they'll remove everything that made Underground so good. Just like Most Wanted. Criterion aren't bothered, unless it's a Burnout title. That's when they seem serious.
Should just proceed to UG3. And enhance what made the others great.
Who we kidding..
This shouldn't shock anyone. It's common knowledge by now to know that employees will check your Twitter, or FB etc. So don't go nuts with what you place on them, or better yet, don't ever mix business, with personal.
He couldn't found better methods to debate his views.
I think Sony have stepped up for the PS4, and that is welcomed across the board.
Good job Kaz.
DLC is a problem when it's content simply locked on the disc. DLC should come in the form of worthwhile expansions. I'm not saying devs can't be considering it prior launch, but don't make it a crappy code. Not some different colour suit, or a 100kb code that simply unlocks what was there originally.
DRM forces you to play games online, EVEN when its based on being a SP game. Why? Why do you need to play a game online, which main focus is Single player?
It's good fun. This was a good game to test it on. Since I think they'll probably put the next GOW on PS4. So it's a good test phase. It wasn't slapped on, it was clear that a lot of work went into it. Their constantly responding to feedback, and deploying fixes.
Sure, its not everyone's cup of tea, and I'm not sure they even thought of a community as big as COD/BF/Halo, but nonetheless, it's enjoyable. I hope it grows, and gets better.
Would this really surprise anyone?
Sega must be furious, and disappointed. If what was said about the money, the development process, this is only the inevitable outcome.
Find out what went wrong, Sega. Ensure it never happens again, and hold those responsible accountable for it.
Burnout Paradise 2.
Yeah, well you know it's not 'peoples' fault internet isn't up to scratch, and isn't cheap. But that's business. You need to be able to assess your market, and what would be acceptable.
Always on isn't, and will never be an acceptable method. Far too many potential consequences.
This little quote again?
I ask again, where does he say they'll be similar? Or even hint at anything to do with what Sony has done? I think it's taking his words well out of context.
MS has already been aiming for interactive, connected, social with the 360. I highly doubt they'd completely abandon that direction.
Wait till MS announce, and the title is stretching it too.
IF true, the excuse of ease to update firmware isn't justifiable. It's not. If users are hopping online, then let them update then. I can only see it to do with control, more than anything else.
Broadband isn't that good yet where this always on business should be even be considered. I doubt it will ever get to that stage. It's nice to have options.
However, looking at the site, and the fact its still a rumour. MS will hopefully end all specul...
Pozzle, you might cause an influx of the wrong kind soon. Even if it it was a clear mistake, xD.
I'll buy it, nice news indeed.
Good luck Dean.
How does he say they'll be similar? He just basically said what everyone should expect. Social, Connection, interactive etc. Hasn't MS been hinting at that direction even with 360?
Well, interests is still on for MS announcement. Hopefully, they end all rumours soon.
That's down to the content being later discovered as on disc, ready content. That is content that should have not been used as DLC. You've basically just paid for a 100kb code to unlock that content.
The map is has a lot of space. So my initial thought was some SP DLC was going to fill it, or something? Not demanding it or anything.
They won't do it. They'll continue to do MP things, even though, it's a weird choice. I mean the best business decision would be to make SP DLC. It would sell, much more than any MP content. Would've thought Crystal would have loved to use the rest of the map?
Well, who knows. I guess thats SE call.
It didn't work for the exact reason they initially did it. It was trying to beat COD. COD will always sell to the people who enjoy COD. Some have left it, some won't ever leave it.
Don't try to remove what makes games so great. Instead, enhance, and improve it. Sales will come, usually with the trait known as quality present.
Who we kidding, this is EA.
Quite normal for a CEO.
Its the additional bonus that are nuts.
Good read.
If it happens, it would defiantly be welcomed across the UK. Although, personally, I still think the UK has quite a bit to learn, on a national level.
Virtua Tennis?
