I think they pretty much got it back midway through this gen. The way they've been launching products, Vita, phones etc. That all in some form, link into their next gen console. Whilst clearly not straying away from what gamers expect from Sony. Games, quality, and value for money.
I'm still interested to see what Microsoft got for next gen. But Sony have done well, and its good to see them continue on that path.
Business is business. So yes, like any business, they are probably frustrated they didn't get any "business" this time round.
I'm sure Sony could have used them. However, would consumers be willing to part with that level of cash? Highly doubtful. Especially in this economic uncertainty.
I'd assume UK/EU only. I wouldn't risk it, unless confirmed otherwise.
Done, purchased.
"Party chat means that for me, there is zero trash talk or abuse on Xbox Live."
That's hardly relevant. It happens, it happens on every platform. There is plenty of users with a mic on PS3. But most probably mute everyone, except the players their in a party with/those with no mics.
You kidding me?
I put in over 80 hours, and intend to continue. It's beautiful to play. The characters are fun, and interesting (especially Drippy). If you expect a joyride where everything is handed to you at 4 hours, clearly.. this wasn't for you. It could obviously improve (variety in the errands, and more sidequests), and I'm hoping the sequel does that. But overall, its a brilliant game.
Nitpicking in an attempt to justify a score, never goes...
You can only do that quest on Genies Step post game. Yes, you can get back into the forest, post game. The elk cannot be tamed (you will understand why eventually).
Enjoy.
Review scores, and sales = quality game? Okie dokie.
PES13 is pretty good. Although, having FIFA around surely made Konami realize they have to keep stepping it up each time.
PES14 should do just that.
Should have been an optional thing. For example, if you were online, you could get certain benefits, or do as they originally intended.
If they were going to do such a thing, they needed an open beta, or something to stress test. But figures. As usual, game publishers fail to comprehend the basics.
What?
That's a poor example. Not to mention, it's a trophy. There's other games which have presented a lot worse, not even as a trophy, and been ignored.
Interesting direction they chose. I liked it, I ended up doing 100% at all locations, without really noticing.
I would hope, in the future, the tombs improve. More things to do, etc.
Effort seems to be paying off, and rightly so.
I simply just pre ordered with ShopTO. Main place I buy from, and can simply discard the pre order if I feel like it. Even without knowing the price or not. When you find out, if you like it, you know its there. If not, quick cancel.
Nothing complex.
Stunning.
They know a lot of people would purchase it, and instead of ensuring servers are ready (using the beta, and pre order figures), again they slip up.
All that money, you'd expect EA to get their servers right for launch. Might want to consider sorting out other parts of your business, before you implement micro-transactions into your games.
I think Mortal Kombat would like a word? In most cases, it represents what would happen if a human was in that position.
So does this mean.. for example, islands may reflect the 'choices' everyone makes, in the SP game? Interesting, but what happens when your offline? Do you miss out on certain things happening?
Why not just buy one then?....
@arq that would be nice, but doubtful.
Has the online improved though? It was pretty poor in the previous instalment.
It was posted near the top, by Galacticos:

When building consoles, its true, makers should ask their studios/third parties how to improve, and especially.. how to get the best out of it. I.E. What was holding them back? If they hit that pricing correctly, Sony should be in a seriously strong position.
Developers clearly like what they've seen so far. I'm excited to see just what comes out on these consoles. More so, very curious to see what Microsoft has done to ensure a general improvement in the future. The ...
For a game such as GTA, its best they don't put one out every couple of years. It pays off, and it doesn't hamper quality.
