Well,
The economy situation is indeed bad. However, like iPhones, Galaxy S3/S4 etc, consumers will spend on what they feel they really want/value for said money. Sony have held off on announcing a price, but have had a pretty slow start due to the pricing they announced with the PS3. I'm sure a company such as Sony must've learnt their lessons by now.
"high price point"? No one knows the price yet. It's all speculation. Refer to above. ...
A quick glance at the current state of the market, should easily show that targets, and financial investments should be properly considered in line with its current state.
I'll stick by what I said. They got greedy, and set silly figures for what is a fresh take on a classic title. That alone should have been a warning on figures.
Of course, this is my opinion.
The real pre-order figures will depend heavily on the price Sony announce.
Get that part right, and Sony will be in a better position.
Well, I wouldn't call it a commercial failure. More like they got greedy, and set silly figures. Then again, the number people, tend to always be out of touch with what's really going on.
Good game, nonetheless. Can't wait to see the improvements.
This is like the situation in Europe, somewhat. You know, the female CEO issue. The way it should be is.. If you're male or female, black or white etc, shouldn't even be a factor. If you're good, and qualified for said position. You should have a chance at it, just as much as the next person.
However, when you start to introduce quotas, and such. You're essentially back at square one. In terms of marketing for video games, it was always be aimed at males. Why?...
Well, let's hope the games content/gameplay is top notch too.
Agreed.
These articles bring out all the 3 less bubble accounts (no offence). Always a bit of comedy to be found.
Placeholder.
That's what all retailers do, until the official date.
I doubt it. If I was Sega, I'd be more interested in deciphering what went wrong with the other versions first. I'd also want to know what happened along the development cycle, and with the money they were issued.
Forcing it out now, seems a lot better? It should have remained an expansion. It probably will sell though.
Of course, the quality will be questioned.
FF Versus PS4 launch.. I doubt would shock anyone. Just getting the game out would be a nice idea. Even a video showing something new..
But.. we'll be waiting a lot more months in that department.
What?
AMD has made a good bet. Thats why Nvidia is a bit frustrated (they've missed out on possibly some heavy business). Business is business. Sony and MS systems (if rumours are true) will sell. Yes, of course Andriods will sell at a much faster rate, but they'll make a good chunk if both systems are running AMD.
Whats stopping AMD from innovating exactly? Them assisting Sonys system doesn't hold innovation back. Unless they went exclusive conso...
Thats correct.
It works tomorrow for EU.
For games like this, I'd expect SP dlc. Since some of the map is still not touched. Could easily do a few things with that.
Probably tied into LIVE. I doubt they'd name the system that.
One way to find out.
I'm not sure what everyone expected.
They screwed up, blatantly. Announced a few free games, and hoped all was forgiven. You've bought their game, they've got your money.
I hope customers don't rush out for the next one (if its all online).
I just don't get it.
Out of everything that happens across all GOW games.. a trophy name was singled out for criticism?
Should have left it COD4 style. It was simple, yet effective. However, dedicated servers, gun adjustments, spawn fixing etc... those are bigger issues imo.
Pokemon Stadium U or something. That would be a system seller like crazy.
The days of playing that.. good times.
