Pretty hard to make a pencil neck geek hacker computer nerd look cool tbh. Its a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation for Ubi really.
Wedge Antilles
Game reviews don't need a score. Many prominent game journo's have been saying this for years like the Giantbomb crew for example (Eurogamer as well).
Arguing about a review score a game got compared to another game is so pointless, a more meaningful discussion would be to compare finer points of a game. Not some arbitrary number.
Agreed fella. Terrible story. Dull characters apart from maybe Laguna and his posse. There's no character development for anyone in your crew apart from Squall and Rinoa. Yawn.
I'm playing through it now on Vita after having smashed FFVII. I feel the same way about it now as I did when it came out. Its not a great FF. Its ok/meh.
Yeah a new console on the market doesn't matter. Thank you opinion article for the insightful opinion.
@Zeldafan64
Good for you, but whats that got to do with the price of fish?
no, it was why I was asking
It means much to me. I like Nintendo games. If its slack then I have less to play. Your hyperbole is a bit much though mate. Whats your deal with publisher of the year? What are you trying to prove and who to?
Fire Emblem is the only thing Nintendo related that I'm even aware of for this year that hasn't come out (in Oceania).
Its a pretty slack year.
Poor performing consoles? In what context? If its by sales then yeah the WiiU and Game Cube weren't great but 2/7 mediocre sales wise consoles is not a bad track record.
Nothing beats the Megadrive and the SNES. Although the NES and Master System were great it wasn't until these came along and moved the arcade into your home. That era was a game changer to how people consumed games.
Red Dead Redemption - Dead Man Arms, great song for the credits. I listen to that soundtrack fairly regularly.
Bioshock Infinite - Under the sea, god only knows, sugaree - all great tunes and well recorded for the game(s)
Bubble Bobble is a classic. I had it on the Master System and it was 200 levels of goodness. The game had such great secrets to it despite it being simple at a glance. Love that catchy tune also.
The sequel however...was great but had game ending bugs on the Master System which meant I could never finish the damn thing. That was soul destroying.
I'm always reminded of this when I hear people complain about patches. Thank god patches exist nowadays is ...
Agreed.
Super Mario All Stars yes, absolutely. At least the buttons will be round the right way as opposed to the NES VC versions.
Secret of Mana would be great too.
Anyone played gotcha racing? Was kinda hoping to see this on there.
Would be nice, but I'd happily buy that game again remastered.
True, but remember when it came out it was mid-gen so it had a backlog of games it could put out. I only got PS+ last year so I get the sentiment but I see the reason.
With Pokemon I'm of the opinion that if you've played one, thats it. Don't bother playing another. They're not that much different. Same fricken Snorlax on the same fricken bridge everytime. It makes me so mad lol.
I agreely with mostly what you say. But I reckon new IP ain't a bad call for a new console. Splatoon was great in the last gen.
