Yeah I remember reading an interview with a FFXIII dev who said the project took so long because there was a lot of internal competition to make realistic art assets.
Has its faults though. Like e-shop titles being linked to your system.
I think I'll go on a killing spree if my 3DS ever breaks down and I have to re-purchase everything.
Another fault being how it can't run two programs at once. I really love how the Vita does it.
Can only remember a few but Aeris was easily the saddest and most memorable for me.
Not sure if he died but finishing Sonic 2 on the Master System without all the chaos emeralds leaves Sonic gazing at stars that look like Tails. That's sad lol.
Mordin dying in Mass Effect hit hard. Ada mildly so to in RE2 also.
I think the whole idea of FF is not to resemble the real world at all. Not sure what places you're talking about resemble Montana and California but Wutai is definitely Japan :p
The Japanese style comes from the character design, the way the characters interact with each other and the direction, framing etc. in their CGI cut scenes.
I didn't say I didn't like Japanese games. I just don't like the anime tropes and style that they put in the series since VIII.
The problem I have with it and this goes back to FFVIII is the weird Japanese-isms and anime tropes like:
- Bad pop music or cheesy love songs
- Those weird facial close ups where the character dangles a finger in the air and does a "hmph" noise
- Male characters with straightened hair, pretty much the character design in general really
- Shite voice acting
- Terrible dialogue and lame melodrama
I could go on but I...
What a waste of N4G website space
No Power Move Pro Wrestling...tsk tsk
At least Wrestlefest was in there I guess.
Your comment didn't make any sense at all. I also don't click on links of websites I don't recognise or know about. The cautious seldom err. So sue me.
No idea what you mean and didn't click your link but ok.
Speed Freaks as a mario kart clone and a "kid" game was pretty damn good.
oh man, you just reminded me about how sooo many games back in the day ended with something along the lines of "Congratulations you won the game" or "Thank you for playing, you win"
How sad, but then there are other weird sim games out there.
Tomb Raider (PSOne) was pretty bad. Just a 10sec cut scene of a volcano and a boat, yawn.
The extended ending dlc made it worse imo. The way the original ended by leaving you with unanswered questions was the best way to end it.
Sounds to me like you're one of the early adopters of the 3ds.
Pure speculation.
Yep, the dude's a bonafide clown.
Yeah man it was pretty obvious. In that other article people were going banana's on this and tearing you a new one for no reason other than they saw it on the interwebs so it must be true lol.
Oh god damn yeah I forgot about Mr Marston. Epic climax right there.
