They died where I'm from because they got too expensive, got rid of classic arcade games in favour for shitty rhythm or dancing games and stopped using cash as the currency. Honestly tokens/tickets are lame, even if it's the same amount they're just dumb.
I'd rather pump a couple of 20c pieces into a MK unit. Not $2+ into a dance machine.
Yes that's right, we are getting a RDR2, so who cares for a RDR Remaster?
Yeah nah, new game please.
Bit stink to see it go because its a kids show. I imagine there's a lot of 5-12 year old's that are really bummed out by this.
Oh wow Sonic the hedgehog deals, said by no one ever.
"They never said no to a port down the line. "
True
"The game has been in development since before the Switchwas unveiled, and adding in another system, easy to dev for or not, is more work that was unplanned to begin with. "
Yup, pretty much. To port to the Switch could be another 3-6 month + job.
Its not a necessary feature and in most games it doesn't really add anything to the experience. Its a nice thing to have, sure, and some can be kinda funny to achieve (see Brutal Legend achievements) but its not something that should be in every video game.
If you need an achievement "carrot on a stick" to want to replay your games then maybe those games aren't that good in the first place.
What the devil are you on about?
lol, even physical disc's & cartridges have an expiration. Nothing lasts forever, even cold November Rain
It's a new gen though. Can't expect them to crank out new releases straight off the bat mate.
Who really cares though. The content in any open building would just be pointless filler. They did a bit of that in AC:Syndicate and it was fairly copy/paste interior & people inside. After the initial buzz of going in there's nothing much else this idea offers.
It's a waste of assets & developer time imo.
I've only played Pokemon blue and Pokemon X, by the time I got to the Snorlax on the fucking bridge that kinda ended it for me. I was expecting something new and different but it's literally the same game re-skinned.
One example, look at the ruins. Too clean and don't look aged. It's not right.
I hope its still early days in development from what we've seen so far. The colours shown in the first crash level seem too bright and cartoony in a bad way.
I'm a bit disappointed with Fire Emblem Fates. The new systems they brought in with the romancing / weird petting thing, the base building, the hot spa, the lottery, the arena really deviate from why people play those sorts of games.
Yeah pretty much.
Yes.
Good. They explained very clearly it was an exploration/survival game and no two players experiences would be similar. But still the babies in the gaming community see the pictures/footage and just think goo goo gaa gaa dats the game.
Its a good point you raise but surely the machines can register how many games are played? Even back then.
