Not to mention that the level design really tried to make the most of camoflague for every area. I couldn't finish the pacific levels because I had no idea where I was meant to go.
I'm not sure what the heck the author is on about with TR2 either in saying the combat was improved over TR1. I remember there being no difference in the combat of the first three games.
Its $30 on AU/NZ PS Store. That is some BS pricing right there.
@nitus10, @MrBug: Never played FFXII but yeah, one out of 13 eh? Fair enough lol. Yeah FF has different spells and the like but in battle you can just hold the attack button and boom that's your battle.
@ZeldaFan64: I'm talking about chronicles dude.
Nah its a pretty decent game. It has npc characters that for me I was interested in and could remember in each town and had a story I enjoyed for the most part. It was an interesting world to be in and had great music. The battle system was a bit of a fluff but how many jrpg's aren't though?
Name me a Final Fantasy game that you don't button mash in battles.
lol @ comment, dig the Captain Harlock avatar though
I lol'd @ make folders. Some people need a sense of humour.
@LostDjinn: He's not saying you don't have a NX, he's saying you don't have a point. Learn to read and get a grip mate. Its not like MoonMan wrote the damn piece and submitted it. Don't be a dick.
Its a great handheld if you like indies, jrpg's, PS1/PSP classics and bizarre japanese games / visual novels.
I don't mind it, I play my 3ds more atm but I have a mad backlog on the Vita also.
Who cares, the Mako is back along with planetary exploration. That is more important.
I wouldn't say they dropped the ball by not showing gameplay or a demo. Its Mass Effect, you can pretty much tell whats in it from the trailer and by judging the previous games. Let us experience it first rather than get sneaky peeks that ruin the surprise.
Nah, the Normandy was a great name. Always reminded me of Eisenhower's speech about embarking on a great crusade, seemed to fit the game.
Resident Evil 1 > the rest.
The only Resident Evil game that had tension and mystery. Best story, great pacing, fantastic music that set the scene. Yeah I know most people reckon RE2 is the best but that game has so many problems with it. The setting sucks, has recycled puzzles, the character development is non existent, there's no mystery, its all about the "evil corporation" Umbrella and the writing is way worse than the first one.
Take...
Power Move Pro Wrestling is one of the best wrestling games but rarely talked about which is a shame.
Jesus everyone in the comments has mentioned great games. Landstalker is one of my favourites on that console. Great dungeons, interesting characters and really well thought out use of space and map design.
Just google it man, I grabbed the Doom source code a few years back and it was as easy as that.
Lol at the pictures in the article that have the game box superimposed on HTML.
Who needs Shining Force when there's Fire Emblem though. Also Bomberman games were released last gen but they didn't take off very well online from my experience.
it was so cluttered with ad shit I had no idea where to click to see the rest of the article. Fuck these guys.
i never really took to Garrus. I mean he's cool in a Soundwave from transformers sense. But other characters had more interesting back stories and personality than he did.
Mordin, Thane, Javik and Jack I'd rate over that guy tbf.
Mega Man was aimed at kids too though man.
To be fair, if done well it doesn't take long to run a script to deny access to a service.
