Excellent article. Some research and thought put into it as opposed to the usual click bait one paragraph crap we get here.
The M's were good. Use to pull all nighters with friends playing Mega Bomberman, MK2, MM2.
Still could lol.
Agreed. Its surprising how this isn't applied in the mobile game arena as there's an abundance of clones on there.
@HammadTheBeast
Yeah the materials cost more but the development teams are larger today than back then. And still the cost is way less.
lol, dudes worried about getting chewed out for mentioning Lightning Returns but fails to include any of the FF's from VI to IX. Madness indeed!
$60 is nothing compared to the price of games in the 8-bit/16-bit era.
I remember buying Megadrive games for $150-180. Master System games were from $80-120.
You've got nothing to complain about with modern day game pricing.
Hair was also used by Sindel in MK2.
Earthbound had a frying pan as a weapon. A devious weapon at that.
I'm pretty sure a yoyo had been used in a 16-bit era game but I can't put my finger on it. Cool Spot used it for an animation.
One paragraph? That's it? That's not an article, its a blurb.
Yeah I hope your baby doesn't wake up sometimes every hour at night when you want to do that (Can happen).
I've relegated myself to just playing 3DS and Vita because they're more convenient to stop. Good luck.
Yep, original ending was great as it was. Open ended, open to discussion, questions and theories.
The extended ending catered for the foolish masses that need everything told to them.
There's a reason why Bladerunner is held in such high regard with its ending and its because it leaves you with questions and uncertainty.
I've never played Diablo lol. Nah my comprehension failed me.
Ah crap I disagreed but didn't read your post properly.
Developers make the worst testers. Better to have dedicated test team.
That guy and you don't know what you're talking about. Its not laziness.
I guarantee if Rockstar started developing a new GTA and released it in 2 years of beginning development you can bet it will also lack content.
About time Snes games made it to 3ds. Overpriced naturally.
one word, emulators.
The PS1 classics range is enough to keep me going.
I don't think its to do with greed on Nintendo's part. I agree with their sentiment that the software should retain value given the effort to create these great experiences.
Put it this way, Skyrim on a Steam sale goes for what $5 these days. Great for the consumer but a ridiculous price in reality. Although Nintendo are the worst for game pricing they can or should improve on that. I'm not saying that you should still be paying $60 for a "quality" Wii g...
Yeah pretty poor imo. Gravity Rush 2 was the only thing that came even close to being something that belongs on a Vita.
Handhelds aren't really suited for "always online" games like multiplayer shooters and GTA clones that use multiplayer online in completely random (but really well done) ways.
I don't care for the reasons given in the article, I'm just outraged there hasn't been a PAL version release or even so much as a release date confirmed. How much longer must we wait?
Reckon, the amount of gullible idiots on here cracks me up. Think for yourselves, question everything.
But that sticker is heaps legit. rofl
