Sounds like the author needs to keep his hype in check.
Reckon, no one in NZ is going to give a damn about the name "Mongrels" cos we're chill af.
Cos every game needs to look realistic ay. Gimme a break.
Its not like you can just put on a shiny new helmet and presto Skyrim in VR mate. To work it needs new code, altered assets maybe & even new code for the engine, then testing. That costs money.
First one that comes to mind is Mass Effect 2. For me the lack of exploration and the lack of main story progression with the reapers disappointed me at the time.
"Oh boy. Another space marine aliens mash up. How exciting. "
lol, my thoughts exactly. Looks like another boring Halo type game.
Even old games should not just be "free" man. There needs to be some model behind free games that can generate income for a product owner otherwise whats the point? And saying oh they've made their money is not a good counter argument.
Its crazy how one small change can fuck up in so many different areas when it comes to development. This is a great example as mentioned in the article with all the extra work they had to do to make it work. What a nightmare!
Only just reached 51.3 million...kept us waiting huh.
I can imagine this game being bad when first released but the 3DS version fixes what was bad about it. Its my favourite 3D Zelda game I've played for sure.
"Storytelling strengths"? The story was pretty piss poor when playing as Leon imo. The game is only three hours long if that and in that time Leon goes from just meeting Ava to acting like he knows her and then onto getting hard out feels for her. Its ridiculous.
At least with the first game the Stars and Bravo members already had history together and the story about the mansion was still a mystery. Resident Evil sequels would've worked a lot better if the sto...
Only thing I've noticed is when switching from Tv to AV it can take up to 12 secs (roughly) for the PS4 screen to come back. Before this update it only would take maybe 5 secs at the most.
I know Crash Bandicoot 3 Warped had time trials but meh. I'd prefer it if these games didn't have it tbh.
Demo's aren't done anymore because they've found that there's no tangible benefit to do it compared to the work and expense done to produce it. Pretty simple really.
Thing is with Read Dead 2, if they did story dlc and it was zombie based I'd rather change my name to Jack Marston...ugh.
Crash 2 above the first? Crash 2 for me was the black sheep in that trilogy.
DLC in those types of games...meh.
It's even worse when the differences get into 0.1 margins (which some people on this site have defended :/ )
A 100 point scale is pretty pointless and outdated tbh. A 10 point scale is ok, but if its out of 10 why not just make it out of 5? You don't really need more margin in a review score. All you really need to know is, is the game great, good, meh or absolute trash.
Blood Dragon was the best one. Great style and the game works great in a smaller package.
That's cool. I mean I still have the original consoles but they're in another country and been in a box for almost a decade. Nothing last forever. Good to know there's newer options. Although iirc the last Sega micro console kinda sucked from a sound and emulation basis.
