Maybe, but Samsung is beating Sony badly in TV market. Sony needs PS.
They haven't profited on consoles but with games and services they are making a lot of money. Especially for this year which has been very good for them. Hardware sales isn't where the biggest chunk of profits come from. Not even for Nintendo.

Clickbait article. There are lots of reasons to own a Xbox console. It has some terrific games and features. Microsoft isn't perfect but neither is sony and Nintendo. What makes you think xbox players won't buy it? There isn't a time limit on buying the game. If you play the game on gamepass and like it there's nothing stopping people from buying it.
