No doub that Microsoft is dominating in that area. Sony definitely needs to step it up if they wanna dominate the online stuff. The ABK move was very smart business wise.Single player games are great but they don't provide a steady flow of money like gaas. The smart thing is to do both. Microsoft has correct their weakness which was lacking single player experiences. Right now the future looks bright for xbox.

If sony only wants to keep making only single player games they will continue to pay a price. They need successful live service games. Microsoft is correcting their mistakes by offering more single player experiences and it's paying off big time.

Meh, doesnt matter. Just pointing out a few facts. Some people think they're the same but there is a difference. It's still something I think Sony should adopt. That power down percentage would probably drop drastically.
Resume activity not a quick resume. It can't enable the feature across multiple games simultaneously either. You can't switch between multiple games on the fly like you can on xbox. ps5 has rest mode which keeps the console running in the background. Xbox feature allows you to shut down the console and still return where you left off when you power it back on. I've had up to 9 games stored and it does it really fast too.
It's probably because they don't have a quick resume feature like the Xbox has. It's one of the things I like about the xbox.
Yep, that was the plan from the beginning. That strategy is working. Microsoft is making a lot of money because of the ABK deal. Sony is outselling them in hardware 2 to 1 but not where it counts the most which is profiting. 2025 Q1 hardware down 29% but gaming revenue and xbox content and services up 43% and 61% respectively. They are more than making up for the declining hardware sales. Their strategy appears to be paying off and it seems it will get better with more releases this year...
