Your informations is inaccurate. Satya reported GP has grown since that was reported. Mostly on the PC side. Gamepass offer more benefits than PS plus. Day one releases alone makes it better IMO. Ea play, PC are other positives..
Most of the time i don't take their comments too seriously because their prejudice against anything Microsoft always shows. If it's decent and positive news, deny and downplay it. If it's bad news it has to be true. Its the same old broken record.

Nintendo does lay off but I do know that some of their higher ups have taken pay cuts to avoid layoffs. But nevertheless it still doesn't stop them all.
It happens across the board with Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo and other publishers. It sucks but is a harsh reality in the industry. Have empathy for all and not just the ones you support. True empathy is being non judgemental.
