Dear God no. I hope Microsoft sticks to the contract and let's them build a better single player experience. I'm pretty sure the directors said they don't want to move from the hub world's anyway for the sequel.
Which is exactly what Microsoft wants. They've stated many times that they want this to be a long time exclusive franchise. Now you have mind share in a huge number of gamers not on your platform for the sequel.

It isn't my fault that you can't remember what MS said. It's just fact that Sony had to clarify that their console does hardware Ray tracing too because MS said it and Sony didn't. So both need to be clearer, but Sony's doing all of the talking right now.

Congrats to Obsidian, this game is getting great scores across the board. This was made with their smaller second team and a limited budget. Since Microsoft wants to turn this into an enduring exclusive franchise, I imagine the Fallout creators are going to get an insane budget for the sequel on Scarlett.
Oh yeah, I stand corrected. I thought there was one instance where they were allowed as long as they didn't try to profit from it.
