Better specs does matter. You think the Xbox720p didn't hurt the X1 on early gen marketing? Performance is going to be a selling factor for both, one box has to have "most powerful" on it.

We already know Activision and EA's greed aren't going to support this lol. Awesome feature for next gen regardless.

So GitHub is confirmed to be correct that the Series X is using 12 TFlops of RDNA2. Microsoft is seriously beating their chest at the specs, I can't wait to see how xCloud is integrated

Samsung sold more almost 3 times as many phones in 2018 alone than Sony sold consoles in 2013-2020. Doesn't take rocket science to see the implications of this partnership. If Sony wants to be relevant in streaming. They better ink up deals like this too.

Until every Samsung phone comes pre-installed with xCloud plus a month of Game Pass and then there's literally no need for those users to use anything else

Day after the Samsung announcement, Apple let's xCloud testing to commence lol. Months of data and feedback for the holiday 2020 launch.

Seems to be more than cell phones. Samsung was pushing MS to allow ultra wide support for XSX just a few weeks ago and now they announce this. I would expect quite a few Xbox themed accessories coming from Samsung for next gen's launch.

Or, it's because Samsung sells more phone across the planet than any other company each year. So if you have a worldwide streaming service, you partner with the worldwide market leader.

Microsoft is the one PAYING for the development. There are NO acceptable excuses for a 4 year development that is STILL unsatisfactory. Make all the excuses you want, but if I pay an architect $20 million for a house, they better not prolong it's development and then come to me for more money.

Did you just magically forgot when the studio head came and said the blame shouldn't be on Microsoft? That Platinum failed to deliver on deadlines? Or are you going to ignore that

They literally took the money Microsoft was giving them and used it to develop other games outside of Scalebound. I seriously doubt that Microsoft would come back to them after that

Sony would be stupid NOT to expand PS Now into next gen. I guarantee it'll be a talking point for them as it will for MS. Especially when you have big money players like Google and reportedly Amazon coming into the market.

Well let's hope we leave the 30 fps with last gen. Playing Xbox first party multiplayer games at 60 fps and then switching to games like Destiny, that play at 30 fps almost hurts my eyes.

Lol, you linked me an article about them drawing inspiration for the next Gears as a confirmation that they're working on the next Gears??? I don't think that's how that works

I've been hearing this too. It honestly might explain why Playtonic tweeted that picture of the Microsoft bag last year. Wouldn't be surprised if they're being consulted

I would love to see Project Gotham Racing come back, criminally underrated racer. There's also heavy rumors that suggest The Coalition has been developing a Perfect Dark reboot. Windows Central even reported their sources telling them their next game isn't a Gears of War.

Unreal Championship 1 with the Romulus character as my go to. Unreal Championship 2 with an actual campaign. Unreal 2: The Awakening with class multiplayer. Good times back then
