Other games sell the preorder bonuses later on. They don't generally give them away for free.
The ray tracing in it are amazing, among all the graphical boosts/upgrades. Reflections on glass and such look beautiful.
It's a bug and PS5 will get patched to 1800p
Not to mention the first Uncharted (great story) being able to be played from start to end without any loading screens. Amazing what they were able to do with the PS3 to transition from gameplay to cutscene and back to gameplay without waiting for a loading screen.
Bandai's site says that it is Summer 2021. They just aren't giving an exact date, probably so that don't complain about any delays that may push it back a bit if they need time to polish it.
Also the current shortage of PS5 / series x. You need to get lucky or set up / follow a few people on twitter to find out when companies are getting more systems, since they sell out in minutes.
DLC with new characters and such is all free for the length of the game. Only thing they're making money on after the initial game sale is the cosmetic store. That said, they need to allow multiple of each character and pop out new characters fast. ~3 months between new characters is not gonna keep people around long, especially when you limit missions and such to 1 of each character (can't even level up the new character with friends and they are increasing the time it takes to hi...
"The first communication, which Kotaku has viewed, began by saying that employees’ “safety is of the utmost importance and should continue to be prioritized over everything else.” In it, CIG also promised flexible work schedules and made ovations in the direction of supporting employees through ordeals like power outages. Ultimately, though, the email came back around to the same idea as prior messages from managers: Time off would require use of PTO, and work would continue, in some cap...
The combat is fun. It's just the endgame / loop after you finish the story is crap and they're going to increase the time it takes to level up with the next patch, because apparently they think people get overwhelmed by leveling quick and that's why they stopped playing...
No PvP, so there shouldn't be a ton of nerfs. Even with loot changes to chests, they listened to fed back from fans and adjusted things. They even said it was fine for people to destroy the hopes and dreams of that loot cave captain, by farming him over and over. Even the end game has bonus loot for being able to clear the expeditions as fast as possible, so they seem like they'll encourage people to play around with builds (just not abuse bugs).
"The problem we were seeing, and hearing, was that you would immediately get more skill points than you had time to review, apply, and get used to, before embarking on your next mission and gaining your next few levels. Hopefully, you can see the issue here.
We want people to level up, in fact, we really want to see more people level up more Heroes, as playing the full Avenger roster should be the most fun thing you can do, but we don’t want the leveling up experience ...
The article linked in this article, says xbox version is around 50 gb. Compared to PS5 being around 27 gb, it's just over half the size. Basically better compression or use of space.
Never really had much problems with the first game in multiplayer. Ride around with a few friends and just destroy cop cars as they chased after us.
$60 or around $40 on sale / black friday and it is needed for multiplayer, and you don't have to worry about Sony trying to double the price (and whether they'd backtrack like MS after the outrage). Though you don't need it for F2P multiplayer games, unlike Gold.
Was able to finally order one today with all the Walmart drops every 10 minutes since 3 pm est. Tip: If you can add it to cart, save it for later for the next wave. Then spam adding it from your saved list once that wave drops and order fast. Easier to add from your saved list than it is from the "add to cart" from the main page apparently.
Replay any story mission (people call for this all the time like with Avengers where the endgame is meh and the story missions are actually good) and side quest as many times as you want, 14 new endgame expeditions that don't reuse assets, 49 legendary weapons and 96 legendary armor, no microtransactions or battlepass, use mods that you get from breaking down items (weapons or armor) on any other respective item - mix and match legendary mods on legendary weapons and change around the beh...
It's a demo, not a beta. This is representative of the final product (it is the prologue and first chapter of the game). Hopefully it gets fixed before release in a month. On PC, it looks and runs nicely. 30 fps lock on cutscenes is getting removed at launch luckily.
Yes, an influenza that's killed over 580k people in the US alone and over 2.5 million people world wide in about 1 year... Hopefully you don't get the vaccine since that would just make you a sheep... ☠ ☠ ☠
Devastator can sponge the damage and truck people. Was playing around and put on some bullet reflect gear and drew the attention of a large group. Watched them all try to kill me for 10 seconds before everything was shot back and they died in an instant. Got the "kill 10 mobs with 2 seconds or less between kills" accolade rather easily...
Technomancer isn't bad after a few levels. A bunch of CC and easy healing, while other classes have to kill mobs in clo...
The campaign in the beginning was great and showed a bunch of different environments. It's just that after the story mode, all the other missions used the same assets over and over. No variety at all in layout or looks.
