Comments say the video is from 2004, but he was showing info on things he had been doing in 2001. Still, they were working on the stuff back in 2001. As for the Move Nav, notice in the video the guy using the DS with one hand in the video? Seeing as the Move wand has the right side of the controllers buttons, they just took the left side off and made it easier to handle. Both the Move Nav and Wii Nunchuck are that, the left side of a controller made to feel comfortable in the hand. So yo...
And if you read the article, the highest day of sales for the 360 (on the chart) was after the price was dropped to 39.99. From then on, it out ranked the ps3 version, which didn't get a price decrease till 36 days later. And from the article, 222,100 copies on the 360 to 192,300 on the ps3 in May(30kish difference), its not that bad of a difference considering the quick price decrease for the 360.
They tried to make the game appeal to the west and also had the fit it to "size constraints". Hell, they said they cut enough content to make another game or such. Hopefully Versus learns from this and they take full advantage of the BD space.
@nickjkl
"how he fired lightning from his hands" can be taken a number of ways. And I heard for the 2nd one they're changing it to his left hand so you can see what you're targeting better since when it zooms in a bit. With the right hand as it use to be in the first game, it'd obstruct your view. And as for the way it comes out, I liked the first games way with the huge stream of lightning coming out of your hand. Still the 2nd one looks nice, a bit differen...
@R2D2
I think they did read it, as they're saying the casual /family-friendly games are not real games. And many agree seeing as MS only showed casual games during E3 and not anything hardcore / real games like shooters, sports games, action, or adventure games.
Move on the other hand will have a hand in casual and hardcore games, and that was shown.
I liked it except for the fact that stuff didn't respawn when you visited an area a second time.
Come on new Zone of Enders.
When I see 'issues', I think people not knowing how to program for the system properly or screwing up on stuff other companies can do easily.
Hopefully they give the PS3 gamers some extra bonuses to make up for the huge wait and the lie of "simultaneous release" just 1 week before they announced the released dates for the PC and PS3 versions.
Yah, it happened 8 years ago, which is where the problems started to come from.
As with other things. there are people that enjoy watching / thinking about certain things. And then there are the people that will take it a step further and follow through with those thoughts. And seeing how many people have played violent games and there haven't been huge amounts of articles about gamers killing others, I'd say its not too worrying.
p.s. Hell, I've seen more articles about gamers killing from having played games that aren't as violent.....
Games do not need violence to make them good. However, there is another side to that. Some people like a mature game that has violence in it. Some people like mature themes in their games instead of flying around on a to other worlds and bouncing on top of bad guys heads to defeat them. Would anyone have enjoyed the Hermes fight in GoW III if you just punch him a few times and then stole his shoes? Most of the gods in the game deserve what they got. If people don't enjoy certain the...
@hitman,
Either use a DS3 or buy a NAV/nunchuck/sub controller. Either works and you're not forced to buy a sub controller, though the sub controller might be a bit easier to manage as cgoodno mentioned. If you're not poor / buying PS3 games/accessories with money from your mother, then its all about which you prefer. I'll be getting two wands and just use a DS3 for the movement.
Hell, in the first week alone, you'd save around $88 worth if you got everything there was. I ended up saving around $25/30ish, and I have another 14 months and 3 weeks to get enough value for the money I spent.
Milo is real, but the demo is staged like with the Star Wars lightsaber game ( http://cache.gawker.com/ass... It'll probably be out in a few years once they fix all the lag so it comes close to the staged version.

@will11, nice...
@Zatrox, I play on expert as well. Normal is just fun for when you're surrounded / feel like killing a whole town Hell, Dead Eye takes away any challenge as you can paint and kill just about everyone around you before you run out of it without getting hit once. Even if you run out you can refill it with moonshine or such. And I did say any lock on is terrible for multiplayer.
@TheBuIIetSponge, probably not, but the article is about console games pretty much.
DLC: Good when it extends the game, but bad when dev's make it before the game is even shipped and have people download unlock keys to use it...
Lock-On: Its good for some games, terrible for anything MP. Red Dead has a somewhat good lock-on, you can have it just snap to the guy for when you're facing like 30 people at once but then you actually have to adjust the cross hairs after wards to get a good shot.
Motion Control: Socom 4 says hello. The DS3 testers get b...
I forget what PS1 games had accomplishments (@Gun_Senshi, I forgot about Spyro even though I have it on my ps3...), but Ratchet and Clank PS2 games had achievement like concepts within the games - "Skill Points" like "Bash the Bug - Beat Scorpio using only the wrench" or "'Wrench Ninja II: Massacre' - Kill all enemies with only the wrench". They only had an affect within the game, so it was evolution for it to come to the whole system in some way or anot...
And its a Monster Hunter game, so of course it'll sell in Japan.
@Jdash24
Be nice, not everyone passes elementary English.
PS2 Eyetoy says hello.
"The EyeToy was conceived by Richard Marks in 1999, after witnessing a demonstration of the PlayStation 2 at the 1999 Game Developers Conference in San Jose, California."
P.S. Hello Kinect, meet Eyetoy Virtual Fighter - http://www.youtube.com/watc...
