PS Move, it only makes horny gamers.
And for those gamers with girlfriends or wives, skimpy clothing not included with Move dance games.
Can't wait for Under Siege, haven't heard anything lately about it besides the "pushed back so that it could be released to coincide with the Move controller". Looks like it'll be a fun game.
/\ Reminds me of the wise cow in DeathSpank.
Yep, its a discount service. Which is why I find it funny people comparing it to other things it is not (ie Live; Live = pay for online, PS+ = discount service).
Those that have been buying everything off the store all along, might not find too much value beyond demos / betas / themes / avatars, but others will. I've saved like 30 in the first month alone, and 14 more months to save more.
There are a bunch of sites. One I've found a few good ones on is: http://www.allps3themes.com...
Yep, and 15 a month is only 1 game every 4 months. For people who have played WoW, between expansions there have been a ton of dungeons / raids put out with new factions and quests, good support for the most part, server fixes (though maintenance is brutal at times), and the developers listened to comments / criticisms that players made and fine tuned different areas (some adjustments were quick, others took a bit).
If the DC developers provide good support, the monthly fees won...
Micro transactions are worse. At least 15 a month is 1 game every 4 months. PC gamers who have played MMOs understand the costs (how many millions of people play wow and spend 15 a month on it?).
Micro transactions I find can ruin the experience. They wouldn't charge for just costumes, and if they did, that's gear with sweet stats (no one would but crappy gear with sub par stats on it) that you'd collect as you play through. So the crazy people who want to spend more...
God, the price of GT5 and LBP2 collector editions and then DC... My wallet will cry, but I'll be happy :P
After seeing article the other day about the Resistance 3 billboard on the set of a movie coming out next year in March, I think they might be announcing R3 sometime soon.

It looks good, hopefully it'll turn out to be a great RPG. They have an amazing team leading it. Hopefully they get to turn it into a masterpiece.
@rroded It'll be multiplat, but with the alliance stuff (not really an alliance in that the publishers aren't going to publish to their friend's rival, more like bonuses to their friend over their friend's rival), Sony will probably get a few bonuses like the new MOH and Dead Space 2 are getting.
The DC Universe trailer was insane. I liked how it was a bit dark, and didn't go all kiddy (kryptonite in Wonder Woman's mouth / Joker shooting the rocket at Batman when he was tied up, "No one kills Batman but me").
Mu is free to play, but micro transactions in it like many other free to play MMOs. I hate micro transactions more than monthly fees. If someone feels like $100 on items, they can get better geared or level faster than others that aren't that crazy (I've seen people do it...). At least with monthly fees, everyone's on equal footing, and the money the developers get from either way goes towards creating new content for free / improving the game. Guild Wars was a pretty good Fre...
Most MMOs have subscriptions. Not many free to play ones that are great. As long as they bring new content, provide great service, and fine tune the game / listen to the players, it shouldn't be too bad. $15 a month is a new game every 4 months. If you have trouble with cash, get a job or learn to save on sh!t you don't need. Only problem I can see the game facing is being in the same month as LB2 and GT5, with both having collectors editions (LBP2 being $99 and GT5 $99).

Yep, at first it sounded like a great idea with it being all hyped up. Was expecting hard core games and the leaked $150 price sounded great for 4 player games. Then E3 showed only casual games which will cost $50, and only 2 people can play at a time... It was suppose to be cheaper than Move (4 people, 150 for the camera to track all 4... or what people thought), but with what has been shown, its the same price as Move if you only have 2 people or trade off turns between 4 people with a ...
@casualkiss All your "freedoms" were good except "marry who you wish". Gay marriage isn't legal in the US yet, unlike some other countries :P
@inception123 Read about the cold war and Afghanistan, its interesting.

The 10 starting classes are just starting classes and equipment. You can make any of them into anything as you go. So you can play it as many ways as you can think of.
I signed up as well, hoping I get in through that or from PS+. As for subscription costs, its an MMO and most are 15 a month these days (wow cards are $30 for 2 months - for those without credit cards), except the free to play ones. Hoping the game has a lot of value to it (they keep adding to it throughout its life seeing as people will be paying a monthly fee) and kicks ass.
For those that have been buying things off the PSN Store for a while, they probably won't see much value beyond betas, avatar pics, themes, and demo access for some games. For others that have been holding back on spending, they'll see a lot of savings. Hell, I saved like $30 already and I have another 14 months to save even more.
@moparful99 Hoping for DC UO and TM betas, and FFXIV beta if it ever comes to exist. TM alone will get a lot of people subscribing for...
Only games that charge full price and tack on a monthly charge are MMOs, and at least those are dedicated servers, and the fees go towards constant updates, fine tuning, and customer support. As for COD, they'll still charge $60 and tack on a $15 month charge, but will still suffer from glitches, hacks, and not have dedicated servers.
