I somewhat see why the disagrees. Basically, it may open up possibilities for hardcore games with Kinect, but it technically is dumb.
Microsoft had me with Kinect possibilities before I watched the E3 presentations and saw 0 hardcore games. While casual games are fun, I myself prefer something besides whatever 2 girls pretending to be on a raft was...
With it being touted as not needing a controller to play games / you are the controller, telling people you...
Flow was interesting to play, but I loved Flower. Can't wait to see more about Journey.
I was looking forward to this at first. I heard there was a subscription fee, but I figured they weren't gonna bust your balls over it. Oh well, a bunch of other games coming out that same time frame that I'll end up getting, so all will be right.
If only they had a bears vs children mode. Go go pedo bears stalking little kids!
I've done monthly fees before. As long as the game play is fun, graphics are good (already shown they look sick), and can last a while, then I won't mind. As long as they don't extort us on the pricing. Some games its still worth it to play even with the monthly fees. Other games even at the regular 60 dollar price alone, they aren't even worth it
Pre-ordered it a while ago, should be fun. Hell, a 50 dollars, it looks sweet. Can't wait for the Jason mask pre-order from Gamespot, gonna stalk little bears in the woods for hours...
http://cache.gawker.com/ass... It even thinks for the player...
50 dollars only, and looks fun as hell.
"not sure about 2 move controllers eve though they show some games with 2 but only sell singles" those games, its optional to use 2 controllers. You can play them just fine with only 1 controller. And if you're only buying 1 game to play with move, buying an additional controller may be pricey. But the games are 40 compared to M$'s 60 dollar Kinect games, so you'll be saving in the long run with 1 or 2 move controllers compared to kinect.
The video looks beautiful, can't wait for it to come out and be able to play it.
Tiger woods had lag, that and the guy demoing it just sucked at golf since it was close to a real sim of the sport. Nintendo had lag as well if you forget, the zelda "wi-fi" connection problems that plagued them for a few minutes, or trying to use the bug launcher. Could have been wi-fi connection problems for both or just lag since both games are still in development and have some time before they get shipped. And for the 360, this helps sum everything up. 5849d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment
Itchy18, think 2 prince of persia's ago or borderlands.
And it comes with a tilt function found in previous versions,

And I thought Activision didn't like the story behind Brutal Legend till someone else tried to publish it...
Yep, it innovates all right,

Yep, Kinect innovates, just look at their demonstrations...

Love this quote, ""The EA model was to have lots of independent developers but oppress them. I always said I don't want to do what was done to me." Gives me a good laugh.
Gears, halo, and fable looked good. Kingdom looks interesting. I was hoping to see something besides Kinect casual games. Anyone else notice the star wars game and think about how funny it was that people said it looked prerecorded the other day when they did a "demo" and today they show "prerecorded video" of it instead of "demoing" it? Hopefully the free new 360's buy over the press at the event.
"Backbreaker is an American football video game developed by technology developer NaturalMotion. One of its highlights is the use of the Euphoria engine; a dynamic physics engine that calculates physical interactions (including tackles) on the fly, rather than depending on canned animation"
Too bad the game won't get too much popularity since it doesn't have the NFL teams and players, but its fun once you play it a bit / understand how to do things.
"This game has generic kart-racing action set in blandly charming places with, ultimately, characters drawn from other universes."
There are only a few kart racing games around and no other lets you create your own character / kart / race track. The levels in the story mode are pretty sick at times and give you some fun ideas to play around with when you create your own tracks, which I've seen some pretty nice ones and you can go into some sick detail when you...
