"It makes me upset when I see torrents for my game on day one". The PS3 says hi. It hasn't been hacked yet and has made one hacker retire. As for people waiting for price drops or buying used games. If the game isn't worth the $60 price tag (lack of replay value or content, or its buggy as hell, or they charge for shit already on the disc...), they should lower the price like some games have been doing to 50 or even under, or polish it more before releasing.
But half the idiots complaining are probably Americans.
On the bright side, its only $50 for those in the US ($70 for Aussies). And if you don't want it, you'll still be able to play online for free, which you can't do with Live. PS+ = money for discounts / free games, dlc, etc. Live = money to play online with others, which is completely free with the PSN. Why compare when they're 2 different things (discount service vs ability to actually play online)?
I liked the feel of weight when playing it, separated it from COD or Halo. Weapons do have weight, they aren't light as a feather...

One thing I hate, devs finishing DLC before the game even ships and charging for it. I can see saying they'll support the game with DLC a bit after t releases, but why not release the game sooner or include it for free if you're already gonna have it done before the game even releases? Oh well, everyone seems to be going the way of Scamco.
And games created by US companies take a bit longer to get released in Japan. Its not a 6+ month difference, so don't complain.
MMO's have charged for playing for years, MS charging for live is just stupid. Reason why MMOs tend to get away with it, is because the create new content / raids to extend the game play and are free (besides the monthly subscription and expansions). For WoW, the Lich King expansion has had a bunch of raids and instances added to it since it first started. Burning Crusade had a ton of content added to it throughout its life as well.
Only way other multiplayer games (no...
Hopefully it works well, and doesn't suffer any lag. Macy's in NCY demo made me cringe, http://n4g.com/news/565901/...
I wonder how you could have ever gotten down to 1 bubble? Back to your cave, troll.
Hopefully we get it by Jan/Feb.
Heh, the 10 hours of gameplay is more than some $60 games. Fun game, and tons of humor.
That's a lot of gamer... She eat RROD for breakfast?
Sweet. "Fortunately, for those with a PlayStation 3, you can create a Japanese account and download the demo regardless of whether it arrives sooner or later." - Love that ability. Got like 4 free dynamic themes that way, and a few demos as well.
I love the PS3's "dreaded" problem. Internal clock problem that solved itself in 24 hours, heh. Quickest solution fix? :P
The people participating in the tournament are at the booth during those days in "SAN DIEGO" which I believe isn't in EU. You can register by sending them an email with the info they said by the 18th, but you'd actually have to fly to San Diego for Comic Con to play in the tournament and then win. I'm just hoping PSN+ gets access to a beta of this early or maybe discounts on the online fee.
Its a fun game, tons of humor in it. Plus same system co-op, and leader boards for: Total kills, most money, and total chickens killed. Leader in chickens earlier was over 9000 (no DBZ pun intended).
Hmm, I can download Hulu Plus from the PSN+ section, but no email about the preview. The sample videos stream nicely and it looks nice in general. Eh, submitted a request for an invite while I wait.
More 3rd party developers are going multi plat to make more money, so exclusive DLC somewhat sets systems apart. As for exclusive games, they'll be plenty of those still, depending on who has more 1st party studios to pump them out.
Automatic patches are OK. They're nice, but its not game/system breaking. How hard is it to get patches / updates on your own? I have PS+ and seeing as I'm going on vacation for a bit, its nice that I'll have the Kain & Lynch demo (spelling?) downloaded and installed on my system by the time I get back. Having to wait a bit to get patches / updates isn't going to kill you. Just go start the patch/update and get a drink while it finishes. Its a nice little time saver....
