Read the article, might help a bit.
"The Betrayal of Jimmy will take players into an alternate perspective of the mob through the eyes of Jimmy, a mercenary. Jimmy is the guy the other guys call when they need to finish the job."
The art design in FF XIV is very nice. Can't wait to play it. Which will sadly be in March...
Why do people consider games you can play on the PC as being exclusive to the 360? Its like saying a multi platform game that doesn't show up on the wii is exclusive to the ps3 or 360.
They're not timed exclusives like COD map packs. And I see no way Extraction could work with Kinect. Then again, the input lag would add to the scare factor of the game.
I got it as well, I love the humor in it. Orphan: "Are you here to save me?" Me: "Get in the bag, future criminal."
Looks like a cool casual game. Though I'll probably end up getting the Time Crisis Move game (3 games in 1? Who wouldn't get it for $40?).
Loved Folklore. Wish they would make a sequel.
I gave Kinect a chance till E3, same with Move. Wasn't sure how either would end up - a gimmick or an actual piece of good hardware. Move showed hardcore games that I liked, Kinect showed nothing beyond casual games and a staged demo of Star Wars (which they later showed as "Hey, lets watch some preplayed footage of the game instead of demoing it").
And Achmed the Dead Terrorist as a mission giver / weapon?
I can see full game demos for $60 games, or even some $20+ games that have a lot of content to it. But for 15 and under, just a regular demo will do (I hope more developers release demos for like $10/$15 games. Some seem worth it but you never know till you've tried it). Seeing as you can beat many downloadable games within that time frame of a full game demo (1 hour). DeathSpanks' demo was good, it was like 25 or so minutes of game play, and you could do a bunch of quests and suc...
The doubts should be about it going against GT5, not Motorstorm. Seeing as GT5 should have WRC cars in it, along with hundreds of other cars...
Hmm, wonder why it didn't include Death Spank. It looks like one of the only good ones for the week.
Or how good the actors are using Kinect. ( http://cache.gawker.com/ass...
Yah, would be interesting. I heard some matches can last a few hours ("lengthy campaign matches that can take hours to complete"). Hoping they put a demo for PS3 with move controls so people can test it out.
MS uses its money to get content, some exclusives from 3rd party companies and to make ps3 exclusives go multi-platform. Sony uses its money to buy companies to make exclusives for it and a bit of extra content from 3rd party studios. Many third party companies are going the way of multi-platform gaming, so it'll eventually come down to which company has more / better exclusives.
Credit cards and Amazon. You'll also get the nice pre-orders on new games :P. Though a bit for shipping.
Yep, some companies need to cut prices in order to get people to buy them. Some games at $50 are nice, and the Move titles being $40 is sweet too. At $60, people are gonna check the competition to see what has more value. And GT5 having WRC, Nascar, and how many hundreds of other cars, the PS3 owners will most likely be getting the it over BBG's WRC if they're near each other in price.
I loved the controls. It not being a COD clone with weapons feeling like they had actual weight was fun.
Edit: Weapons do have weight IRL. Tell me you can jump around with some of the huge machine guns or rocket launchers and swing them around like they're as light as a feather, then you can disagree.
Some games don't deserve the full 60 dollar price tag. Paying $60 for a shitty game just for the money to go to the developers instead of a company selling it used is dumb. Think someone should pay full price for any Iron Man game, Rogue Warrior, Naughty Bear (had hoped this one would be good be sadly..) or such? Also, developers are charging for things that are already on the disk after it releases.
As for EA charging for multiplayer, hopefully the used game stores ...
Butt hurt boy, go get your daddy's credit card and get GOW III or Uncharted 1/2 and tell me the graphics are murky and washed out. Not multiplat games, but they show its not the PS3's fault if developers end up with not having the graphics the PS3 can put out. And try and go for a variety of multi plat games instead of 3 shooters that have a similar graphics look, and 2 other games that are suppose to dark / gritty. Also, see about getting a better TV as well if your parents can aff...
