I'm no Microsoft supporter, but in all honesty this could be benign.
Forced advertisement is bad if you pay for content and are also forced into watching advertising.
Forced advertisement is good if you get the content free and are forced into watching the advertisements, as thats the principal of television. Things like tivo are good because it lets you ignore commercials, however, where do you think the money to produce those television shows comes from? If no...
Thanks for the answer, i guess the name actually does make sence. I have used an iphone a few times, as two clients of mine have them and needed email configured. I have to say, i prefer buttons.
can someone explain why these devices are called 'multi touch'? As far as I knew there was only one way to touch something.
'Hundreds of small-time dealers are thought to be losing fortunes through an online bidding crash after thousands of units suddenly became available. '
Cry me a river, They wanted to play capitalism to their advantage and rip off consumers by overcharging for the wii. The saying 'taste your own medicine' comes to mind.
xp is windows98 to vista's millenium.
actually this news is a step up. in the past it was so far as being declared canceled. (strangly i bought my psp at launch thinking this game would be released soon after....)
how?
I thought it was pretty simple actually. I like it because On radio player 1, clicked metal, the first station that started playing is the station i listen to 90% of the time...BONUS! Although the station changing noise needs to go.
"and computer software programs enabling receipt, download, playing, personalized and interactive viewing,
"
I read this differently. To me it says this device will be able to buy, download, and play some type of media. I dont think it nessisarily means games.
I agree. If not for the line in the middle and the slight differences in movements on each side, I would think it was one video.
overclocking implies setting the clock rate higher than its specification. the psp cpu spec is 333. Overclocking would be going beyond 333MHz. The psp can do 333MHz in 'retail' form, it was the developers who were limited in using more than 222MHz in their software.
its not overclocking, it was previously underclocked. at 333MHz it is running at its spec'ed speed.
No one should expect them to decide one way or another before christmas and risk loosing the other sides business. IF (keyword IF) they make a decision it would most likley happen after the new year.
could buy a ps3 and an A3 for less so I dont see how this will help much.
I love GT with or without damage. But regardless, I would like to see some screens/movie showing it. As we all know just because a magazine prints it, doesnt make it so.
Ive never reserved a game and never had a problem getting any game i wanted on release day, dont buy into Gamestops bs ;).
The thing about attachment rates, is they mean nothing. If they did, hd-dvd would be outselling br by leaps and bounds. They claim ps3 owners dont buy blu-ray, and the attach rates are low on the blu-ray side. Funny, how none of that translates into hd-dvd sales isnt it?
Fact is, there is 1 thing that determines success, the ability to sell the media for your device (movies in this case). If the movies are selling, your product is doing well.
As fun as cod4 is, I have to say i dont care for the level design on all but 1 or 2 levels.
"Wheres the innovation? Wheres the originality?"
Point out the innovation and/or originality of most FPS games. For the most part FPS innovation was done years ago on pc's. Adding new graphics and a story isnt innovation, its natural progression. Quake had nearly all the core implementations of any FPS game of today, they have only gotten prettier, smarter, and better connected.
Aside from all that, something does not have to be innovative to be fun.
Epic is treading new territory with mods on a console, there is bound to be some bumps in the road regardless of the system it was done on.
