Entertainment is entertainment be it fictional books, movies, video games. Just because a book is low-tech entertainment, doesn't mean it's better for you. It is simply a different way to pass time. What he should be saying is balance entertainment with other things.

The article is misleading. You CAN NOT just give someone the code, as Valve has said the code must be activated from WITHIN the ps3 version.

Yes I read the entire thing. Nothing in it contains any statements from Sony. The only thing even close is an 'unnamed source' comments on 3g connections.
Did anyone read this? This is 100% opinion, no one at Sony said anything about this yet the title is worded 'Sony:' as if Sony has said this. This is nothing but someone hoping this will happen. Would it be cool? sure. Is this a news story quoting Sony? Not at all.

Anecdotal evidence for sure, but I just came from best buy where I saw plenty of Kinect standalone and xbox bundles. It might be in demand, but it certainly isnt hard to find. Not to mention, it's been on sale several times this week. Things that are 'impossible' to find dont typically go on sale I would think.
