I wish more games were this good. Too many developers are making knock-offs of great IPs instead of looking into what made them great in the first place.
Nano-scale 3DHD Blu-Ray discs socketed in their own personal cartridges, kinda like a UMD. That's what I wanna see.
How about giving PSN users around the world a uniform experience, instead of causing us to grind our teeth in rage at all the perks enjoyed by those outside of North America? Seriously...WTF?
Do want! <starts plotting his PSMove purchase> 8D
Soda, how did you get back to a single bubble so quickly?
EDIT: Oh wait, you can't reply...
They just turned the Move into a gun-con... <goggles in awe>
I'm SO getting one of these.
@ blueshirt7749:
Ad hominem attack = you don't have a counter argument, so you attack the commenter personally instead. Weaksauce and an epic fail.
1. "Kinect" is actually Natal, renamed. ..Ok, if it's getting a re-branding already, MS is in trouble.
2. Still using canned video and pre-rendering. Not terribly impressive, unless you happen to be Kelly Clarkson.
3. Sony has a higher-quality motion controller; even if it's less original.
Yeah, I think I've got this one figured out now. Kinect = fail.
omg...can't breathe...but can't stop laughing...
XBOX360 Slim = looking an awful lot like the PS3 Slim. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...
• Upgrade Home to a fully blown virtual world game, like The Sims and offer it as part of the package.
- I'm not opposed to this, but if they haven't done something with it by now, what are the odds they ever will?
• Offer Qore for free as part of the service.
- Yawn.
• Offer a collection of past PS 1, PS2 games for free as part of the service.
- <falls asleep>
• Trophies/achievements that c...
If the US takes away your first amendment rights, you can always move to Japan. I guarantee they'll revolt before they let their government tell them what games they can and can't play. US citizens are probably too fat and stupid to do anything about it, though.
EDIT: I'm speaking of non-gamers in the US, of course. Everyone on N4G is, I'm sure, outraged.
1. Update creates new display options.
2. Display options not automatically engaged.
3. Go to PS3 settings and engage them yourself.
There we are. All sorted out.
Re-branding is not the same as dumping a brand. It's just giving it a paint job and a new name. Which makes perfect sense, because "XBOX" is still plagued by association with hardware errors.
But give it a new name and logo, and you've got a blank slate...except you get to keep everything you already had going. The new name won't have any of the old associations, but the whole division essentially stays the same.

It might be a fanboy thing; but I always tend to think of the PS3 gamers as the 'elite', and the 360 gamers as more 'mainstream'.
So games like Alan Wake that lean toward being more 'artsy' and refined will always do better on the PS3, imho. If you want a successful 360 hit: blood, violence, mayhem, 1st person, excessive swearing, maybe throw in a little nudity...you get the idea.
I was kinda hoping for more maps.
Apple is changing the name slightly to reflect the latest generation of smartphones. Version 4 is called the "iPwn". ;)
After DNF jumped the shark, I'm not holding my breath.
I will never buy a COD game again. I will never buy a 'Hero' game. I will never buy an Activision game if I can help it. I will never take Starcraft II online if they intend to charge me for multiplayer.
I say bring back the focus on epic single-player campaigns and screw these greedy mofos with their dreams of sticking a siphon tube into our bank accounts.
Because honestly, did anyone think that a gesture-based interface (tech that is still in need of a lot more research and development) would be anything close to what an actual controller can offer?
Sony tried gesture interface games with the PS2 and the PSEye, and while interesting, there are *still* only a tiny handful of games for it that no-one plays.
