Sony is in the business of pushing their consoles. Why would they release their first-party games day one on PC?
Just like any game, some people will like it, some people will not. Only the ignorant ones (like the author of this article) try to make their opinions seem like fact.
I care about the next ES. I hope it comes to PS.
I think it’s because some were hyping Starfield to be this ‘generational’ masterpiece when it just turned out to be an okay/good game.
I know I'm in the minority here but I don't mind MTX's as long as they aren't keeping exclusive items behind the paywall. Make them items that I can find in-game and I don't really care. Also, don't make them 'pay-to-win' in PVP games, as in giving people the chance to buy a powerful weapon that can decimate other players who choose to not buy them. Again, this is just my opinion and preference.
I still haven't played it yet. I'm waiting for the Rising Tide DLC to release. Maybe I'll get to it by this summer.
Just lump them all together huh?
Why would you not give gamers a much simply way to start a new game?
Yeah it keeps going over a lot of people’s head for some reason. This was never marketed as a separate hand-held device or console. It was always considered to be a ‘niche’ product designed specifically for remote play with your PS5 on your local home network. But the haters want to continue the narrative that it is a ‘dud’ or that people were ‘duped’ for buying one. To be clear on my stance, I don’t own one and am not interested in one but that doesn’t mean that I can’t see the value of it f...
Nah I can never condone pirating a game. If you don’t want to give the company any money for their product then that’s all well and good. But that doesn’t justify you stealing their product.
Ragnarok is next on my list after I finish Trails to Azure
That’s why they give you the option to automatically sell gear under a certain level, so you don’t have to cycle through them if you don’t want to.
Every time I buy a new game, it’s on sale. Because I never buy a game when it first releases. Always better for me to wait for updates and patches.
@trini
You actually don’t need PSN subscription to play FFXIV
“Final Fantasy 14 does not require PlayStation Plus to play online, so each person playing should have a separate Square Enix Account linked to their own PlayStation Network account.”

Well they are talking about their goal for the entire fiscal year, but I still think that is aiming high.
Pretty ambitious for the fiscal year, especially since the combined Nioh series just recently surpassed 7 million sold. They'll likely need to get the PC version announced and released before the end of the fiscal year. It's good to set your goals high though.
Likely an effort to keep more profits for themselves without having to paying shipping and shelf space costs to retailers.
I agree with you that this is something to look forward to but sometimes 'hype' can hurt more than help. It can set expectations too high and then if a 'good' game isn't great, it can sometimes feel disappointing. I hope the gameplay reveal is nice though.
Nice little touches to hear about. I look forward to playing this game, hopefully sometime this year. Curse my backlog lol. But it's a good problem to have I guess.
Yes, these are positive numbers. Some will downplay if the numbers aren’t astronomical or something but, from the article:
“Recently, Horizon Forbidden West was also released on Microsoft's platform, and it is showing very good results on Steam.
According to SteamDB, Horizon Forbidden West peaked at 40,462 concurrent players on Steam, which is less than Horizon Zero Dawn, but still Sony's fifth biggest launch on the platform.”
