Never buy a game at full retail price, and don't be afraid to check out free-to-play games.
That's why I sincerely hope that is A.I. doing that. If that is a real human, then that is really sad and pathetic. The mental hurdles that one must bypass to perform these actions on a daily basis just to spew nonsense is signs of a serious problem.
I’m inclined to believe that is A.I. because otherwise it’d be pretty pathetic to go to all that trouble just to spout nonsense all the time. I’m hoping that isn’t an actual human because that would be sad, for real.

I’d assume they’d release a firmware update for the older models as well. It wouldn’t make sense to keep the Internet requirement for those as well.
I would definitely buy that. They remake and remaster a bunch of stuff we don't need/want but they let the really good stuff sit on the shelf collecting dust.
I bought an XB360 to play this game. I also played other gems like Blue Dragon, Gears of War, and ES: Oblivion but Lost Odyssey was the precursor and one of the best jRPGs ever.

'Where Winds Meet' will likely get some coverage since it will drop for PS5 this Friday. I'm looking forward to see what other games they'll have on deck.
I never buy any game, physical or digital, at the full retail price. There will always come a time when the game will be significantly discounted. I am very patience and will usually wait until a game is at least 50% off before I buy it.
I think all gaming fans should 'bemoan' the death of exclusives and not look forward to it as something that should happen to all games. It's not about loyalty to specific platforms (at least for me) but more to do with what I believe will lead to a degradation of innovative games and a proliferation of bare-minimum game development.
Traditionally, exclusively-developed games took advantage of the specific hardware's capabilities that really made some games...
They'll get those 'player engagement' stats any way they can.
I wonder how it would look if they actually compared game sales instead of the misleading 'player engagement' stat. It used to be that revenue was a good judge of how well a game performed in actual sales. But if you can't beat them, just change the game.
Yeah, unfortunately they can’t all be bangers months. But I’ll still download of course. Nothing to lose by adding them to my library. Who knows what I’ll end up trying in the future?
It's obvious to everyone except Xbox how important consoles and exclusivity is to innovation and driving the industry forward. Someone told me I'm taking her comments out of context but it seems Mike Ybarra also didn't get the memo.
It does look good, but I'm still pissed off that they abandoned their plans to bring the "New Beginning" update to the console versions of Edge of Eternity. They released it for PC and said they would update it on consoles by the end of the summer 2023 but then just never released it. No communication at all, just ghosted on everyone. So I'm taking the 'wait-and-see' approach with how they handle this title for consoles.
I think you have to actually be able to compete with other consoles in order to be competitive.

On the flip side of that, good games can have characters of different ethnic and social backgrounds without thinking that some agendas are trying to be pushed. I've played many, many great games throughout my life with many different characters (male, female, white, people of color, even some animal characters) and loved them all simply for the story and entertainment they provided me while I escaped into those worlds.
