COD4 is ten times the game Halo3 is....and COD5 is being made by different people to COD4, so no COD4 will not be forgotten when 5 comes out.
For starters COD4 is on both PS3 and 360 so more people can play it, and COD4 just feels more adult.
All i can say is thank god they didn't....otherwise PS3 would be suffering the same disk drive space issues the 360 has.
Its better to wait and get something better than to rush out and get something thats half the quality.
The fact that the PS3 has a blueray player, saves me a lot of money in the long run as now I don't have to get a stand alone player.
So what your saying is MS is selling 360s as fast as they can make them, and still Sony manages to out sell them.
Did anyone even hear about these stock shortages before these latest numbers came out?
And if there are any stock issues, if they didn't have to replace 16% of their stock all the time, maybe they would have enough to go round.

There is no doubt that the Wii will take the lead in total user base between the 3 main consoles.
The magic question is, does it have the legs to last like 360 and PS6....how is this machine going to look in 8 years time just when the next Gen will be coming in.
It is the lest powerful out of the 3 machines, so it will reach its limits a lot sooner. So with nothing new to sell the system, I expect the sales to slow after another 2 years and then the other machines may (or may no...
They already have their own...HD-DVD.
They can still use it, it just won't be able to play any movies because no one will be making them by that stage.
But then again that would put them at a disadvantage against PS3/4.
So its either BlueRay or download....will download be ready by 2010...not for most people in the world.
Sony is a trusted brand inside and outside japan.
It would take a lot to beat Sony in this market, like how the Wii is doing.
360 as good a console as it is, other than Devil may cry 4 are there any other options of games that Japs like....at lest compared to whats coming out on PS3???
I think its just a matter of MS not knowing the japanese market and not producing and games for their tastes...thats the only reason why its not selling as well.

From what I've heard the UK was the last EU country to over take the 360 in weekly sales. I think the 360 still is selling more at this stage...or at lest its about the same.
This article only says that the PS3 has past the 1 million mark sooner that the 360 did, not that its past its sales rate at this time.
