I suppose it all depend on which side your on to who you think the bad guy was.

firstly I was only a contractor there and this was about two years ago. but if a company tells its workers "you cannot store music on your hard drive because we cannot take responsibility for protecting it"....it really is the users own fault.
There are people out there who fill their PCs up with all sorts of crap like those smily faces or yahoo tool bars that end up breaking the PC down, so the company has to pay us to fix it.
So should we keep a list of their music.....

I work in IT support and we have to keep telling people not to stuff up their hard drive with music files.
Of course and engineer ends up having to reimage a users laptop...so guess what happens when this person comes back asking what happened to his music files.
Sorry man, we don't back those files up...we told you not to put them in there. So he has to go buy all his music again.

A little harsh with your comments about the 360, but I have to agree with the games that are coming out this and next year moving games forward.
At the moment there is a general feel that a lot of games are just FPSs...and I'm sure the success that halo had was a big course of this.
Now this year we are starting to see more of a selection of games like LBP...something that is different.

Its a hugh market and any company would be a fool to ignore it.
1.4 Billion is small change from what they make from the EU countries.
The fact of the matter is MS has a monopoly of the software market because they make windows, therefore they have a responsibility to get the knowledge out there to other companies to make competing products otherwise your going to be stuck with only MS's product.

Well this is another one for my shopping list.
Its very different from the other games out there, so I'm sure I'm going to enjoy it.
I think japanese culture is becoming more main stream in the west, so there is a growing market for it outside Japan.
They could have made GT5 prologue into GT5 itself and then just keep adding cars and maps as they became ready.
Oh well, still love GT, and I'll be getting Prologue and the full game when it comes out...I'm sure I'll be getting my moneys worth.
