Consoles are a growing market, it would be silly to leave them out.
Plus, wouldn't blocking all P2P exchanges stop online gaming on consoles?
I got the game, installed it...the end. Oddly enough I don't have to go through it again. So whats the issue.
I'd be interested to see jut how much better the PC version will look in a moving picture.
With using the hard drive, there won't be any of those late texture loading like in the 360 version.

i think the whole thing is just balanced to how big the userbase is for each console in each country.
In the UK the 360 is so I'm told out selling the PS3 by a small margin, the total customer base is in proportion to these sales figures.
Its about the ratio of 360s to PS3 in the UK isn't??

Their just looking at the total sales of PS3s and see that it is on par world wide and is catching up to the weekly sales in North America.
The 360 is still out selling PS3 in NA, what people are saying is if the pattern remains the same, one day the PS3 will pass the 360.

I thinks because the screen from Starcraft 1 has a lot more action happening in it.
If we see what the lasers etc look like in the new one, maybe that will give us more of an indication of the effects Starcraft 2 will have.

Thats the big selling point of Consoles over PCs, because we don't have to go out and replace the thing every 3 years.
I have heard that they planned to keep then gen going longer that the last (they were saying 7 years).
It would make sense to hold off because it costs a lot of money to roll out a new system.
If sony really are waiting another 8 years before releasing the PS4, then I expect MS to wait till a year before that, other wise their system will seem the obsolete one when the PS4 comes out.
The RROD issue really did hurt MS.
For starters, when their next model comes out...how long are people going to wait to see if a similar issue is going to start to happen with the next model.

That is true, the model maybe different...but the company remains the same.
In 10 years time the userbase for the PS3 will be very large, and Sony knows its not a good idea to turn their back on them.
As long as there still money to be made, Sony will do it and like the change over to the PS3, when the PS4 comes the income from the PS3 will help pay the way.

World wide the PS3 is matching if not passing the sales of the 360, so if the 360 ever got to 100M then the PS3 will be there right with in.
It would take years for either console to get to 100M soles just like the PS2 did, with 10M PS3 sold after 1 year, it will reach the 25M mark in about 1-2 years time.
how long has the PS2 been going now....and its still going strong.
I'd say the PS4 will come out in about 7 years time, but the PS3 continue for a little while after that in the same way the PS2 did.
Who knows what will happen with the 360, that depends on whether MS want to continue support for it after the next model cames out.
