Actually, its not about who's coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd....its about profit.
As long as all companies are making a profit, that means they will be round for the next generation. No one will make consoles if theres no money in it.
Nintendo can produce their product at a low cost so they have it in the bag.
Sony are working to get back in the black and while their Console is selling well, there is no reason to lower the price.
Microsoft arn't really letting on h...
Me to, too much to buy this money and not enough time to play it all.
Did you just get dumped???
I hear a lot of people saying their not buying it because its a kid game.
If they just played it they would see its not the case at all.
It really is family entertainment.
Why else would one of the first levels have weird fury creatures in bikinis sliding up and down dance poles in a night club. That's just hilarious....but I don't think a little kid would get it that joke.
I couldn't wait.
My Girlfriend had to order me to leave something to get me for Xmas...so I'm waiting for Red alert.
She love LBP by the way.... its nice to have a game we can play together.
It think its more to do with the fact that fan boys like to label the other console's games as flop no matter what....it really has anything to do with whats happening in the real world.
Gees Lab, You haven't play it at all have you.
Fine if you want stuff placed under your nose so you don't have to think, but maybe some people want to actually make something.
If you make it too simple then all the levels that come out would look the same.
This way the only thing that limits you is your imagination.
So if your finding it to slow and you can't make anything....whos fault is that.
From what I've heard from other reviews and comments from this site, a lot of the story from the single player game are in hidden bits that you pickup through out the game.
I guess if your pressed for time trying to produce a review before a deadline, you might miss them and so miss the story.
Make a game you want to play.
A good game does not need the latest graphics....some of the best games I've played have been the simple one.
Just look at Pixel Junk Monsters.
yeah that did happen.
If you wanted to go by stereo types, 360 are the younger crowd like students and people gaming on a budget while PS3 owners have more money to buy the more expensive console and tend to be 20 to 35+. So maybe that's the crowd they are after.
And of course Wii has the biggest number of customers and can reach the whole family.
I'm just waiting till I have some money again before picking this up.
I never played MGS until MGS4 came out and I loved it.
While I agree that some people might not like the big cut screens, I would have to says that you must give this game a try.
I do remember those days.
Its probably all the kids that are the age you were when you were into it.
...and maybe the odd kid who never grew up.
I have a 360 and a PS3, and yet its the PS3 I have more games for.
23 games on PS3 and 2 on 360.
I guess its all down to what games you like to play.
Besides, LBP will be fine...there are not a lot of games that stretch across so many demographics...kids or middle aged, boy or girl, Hardcore or casual gamer. there something for everyone.
The only complaint you hear from people about the game is about the complaints system for creative levels. But I'm sure...
I was never a fan of resistance series, but by all that's holy never have insomniac stick to just ratchet.
The games have not been to my taste, but I can see that they have talent and want to see them make more stuff.
You'll have to get a wifi adaptor to go with that 360 and pay for Xbox live.
Is that the 360 with the harddrive?
I'm holding off getting Valkyrie as I'm still playing Dead Space, Fallout 3 and LBP.
I really don't have the time to play anything else at the moment...but I will be getting it.
I like them to spend their money on making games....
But, It they advertise they can get more people to buy games and then make more money to make more games.
Its all a fine balancing act.
