record-setting?
Is it beating what the Wii did?
True, but all companies Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony have had to make cut backs, if not in the games industry then in other areas.
At lest we know that all of them will want to stay in the game so we can keep getting great games.
I got my PS3 on day one when it was full price.
I haven't regretted it for a second.
The PS3 can do a lot more than just play games and I use a lot of the features.
No amount of cost cuts will matter as I already have it.
But I can safely say that I did get value for money.
Of course this all depends on your budget and how often you plan to use it.
Yeah, I'm one of the 40%.
Just working my way through the campaign so I don't get my ass handed to me on line.
PS3 had to go through a lot of hard time because of blueray.
They won't pack it all in as soon as its starting to pay off.
Cool game.
Still only part of the way through it at the moment as got too much on my plate, but I'll will be going back to it at some point.
I really hate it when they do these things on the days I'm at work :-(
I have 23 games for my PS3 so far and counting.
I don't think I will be able to fit them all on my hard drive if they were all downloaded.
Yes I like the physical product, but I also like the fact that when I'm not playing the game, its on a disk on the shelf and not filling my hard drive.
I already have a 300GB hard drive, it wouldn't take long to fill up with all these games.
I'm on Holiday in New Zealand at the moment.
So far I've seen ads on bus stops and an ad on TV today.
So if their paying to advertise here...I'd hope they advertise else where.
Most games don't even touch on sexuality as sex really isn't in the subject matter.
That being the case, why would there be a need to high light Homosexuality in games....Its rare to see heterosexuality.
I've got nothing against it. but if it appears in a game it need to be part of the story matter.
The only game I can think of that I've played that did this was Mass effect. And required the actions of the play to get to that point as well as it being tastefully done....
Uncharted is the one I'm working on....just playing my way through the hardest level (what ever its called). I did spend an entire evening repeating one gun fight over and over, so it still makes you work for it.
I finally made with 10 mins before midnight.
Maybe I just suck, I don't know...
Its whatever you want it to be.
I consider myself to be a hardcore gamer...although I do have a life away from my games.
Although i do spend lot of time thinking of games as well....guess thats what makes you a gamer.
Two great games, I'm just sorry that I'm on holiday for 5 weeks and won't be back in time to play these.
Graphics wise the place I think RE5 falls down is its too clean.
Killzone 2 the characters all look like they have been rolling in the dirt while Chris Redfield barely has a scratch on him.
We're been living with fingerprints as an issue since CDs, I don't think its a new problem than anyone who watches film will be able to get their head round.
I guess we going to be getting these articles for the whole time Blu-Ray will be out.
First HD-DVD then Laser disk then DLC and now this....so whats next on the menu.
Its the cycle of life.
Everything has its price point where people will think its worth it...even Haze.
Are bluRays better than games???
Its a bit like asking is Cheese better than Cod.
They are two totally different thing.
Square Enix are just covering their bases for the north American market.
Fact is its still coming out on PS3 everywhere but its still exclusive to PS3 in Japan.
That doesn't sound like they have abandoned Sony.
Because if hes still playing it even if its not new, then it might be a game you would like to try.
But thats completely up to you.
