I'm at a point where I'm going to pick up the game just to spite the complainers. I can't stand this overly sensitive PC world we live in, you'll never please everyone.
I didn't know enjoying a pizza every once in awhile made you a fatty, or does the author know the eating habits of everyone who might use this?
Hell, who even orders from Pizza Hut?
Game collects knives, I don't think he'd throw donuts at us.
How many console games do you think don't use aim assist? The correct Number #4 would be, not make it so blatant.
@LordHiggens
Monster Hunter is not meh, try again.
Criticism that you deem valid, isn't an instant qualification.
I have no counter opinion, because I don't know anything about Microsofts plan. What I do know is if their plan is to include always online, used game blocks and other crap along those lines I wont be supporting the platform until much MUCH later in it's life. I had the same attitude when the Sony news broke about the used game patent they had filed.
I do not speculate on hardware manu...
That one ad is really hard to avoid.
Yeah the ad in the bottom right corner of the dash home page is really egregious, it can't be ignored. The article also posted an image of the music section, is the author suggesting artists advertised on the front page of the Music section are to be taken as offensive?
I enjoyed Viva Pinata, Alan Wake, Forza Horizon, Blue Dragon, Banjo N&B and the first Ninety Nine Nights (There was barely anything to play when the first NNN came out).
Don't get me wrong, I like Twisted Metal and I supported it. My point was how this site is a constant deluge of people talking about how important exclusives are, yet they are never advertised or supported by Sony and the faithful.
But of course, Kaz forbid any of you ever look inward...
Tell me all about Starhawk and Twisted Metal, how important were they?
Could we wait until after the reveal before we start dumping coolers of Haterade on one another?
I play bejeweled on my phone when I'm headed into work, the black and white "Hardcore v Casual" metric is just broken. I played Tetris on the Nes and Columns on my Genesis, does that mean my younger self who obsessed over all games was a casual?
My sister plays games, she played random crap with me when we were younger and that evolved into things like Counter Strike, Halo 2 and has now landed on CoD as her permanent home. I play on my days off with her and her boyfriend and consistently she'll get questions about whether she is a boy or a girl, she kinda has a nasally voice so I suppose I can see why the question would be asked.
She is harassed consistently, gets random friend invites and deals with all of it we...
If only Game Journalism wasn't dying, there are Game Journo vets who can't find work. Better bet would be some form of development, especially if there is an interest in mechanics.
Almost no one in the press got this game pre release, take from that what you will.
I agree, that feeling of elation has died for me as well when I buy or pop in a game for the first time. The thing is I would absolutely agree that's an issue of getting older and not necessarily the games fault. I wonder sometimes if it's because games aren't purchased for me anymore, so I don't need to mine everything I can out of them.
I put hundreds of hours into things like Quake/Quake 2, Starcraft, C&C, Snes/Genesis platformers, A friend had a Colec...
You're about as subtle as a car crash.
"Though I can't help but wonder why anyone would make something they're not proud of to get money."
This makes you sound so ridiculously naive, it hurts. I would also disagree that regardless of business plans, like DLC and other things that seem to rub you the wrong way. The people behind things like Dead Rising 2, Borderlands 2 or DmC were proud of what they made. To say otherwise is kinda disrespectful to the people who put in 40+ hour weeks to get the ga...
Then buy a different game?
Mobile gaming, because you want to carry around your device and a whole separate controller. I'm all for a quick game of ridiculous fishing or a quick fight in Infinity Blade but to say those experiences are on par with Golden Abyss or Luigi's Mansion is just flat out false.
It's not even a case of visuals, someone could definitely make a game that looked on par with Luigi's Mansion or Golden Abyss but the touch joysticks and buttons will never match physical...
