You sound like the kind of guy you want to party with.
No offense...but who are you again?
"Yami is Co-Founder and Co-Executive Editor of this fine establishment. When not ranting about video game advertising, she's trying to make the gaming community less cynical"
Oh there we go.
What about people who don't understand tech, yet talk about it as if they do? I was two seconds from pulling my hair out when some guy who shall remain nameless, couldn't understand 1280*1080 isn't the same as 1920*1080 and that 1280*1080 wasn't native 1080P or the "1080p Full HD Standard".
I get a little miffed by disagree, but only because I want to know what you disagree with. I enjoy the discussion and I enjoy understanding other peoples points o...
Did I say that? Did I say, people are going to play this and be like fuck Uncharted 4? It's Playstation IP bound at the hip to Coca Cola branding, which I sincerely doubt this thing would have even existed without the Coca Cola involvement.
The design creativity and execution is lacking. This does nothing to promote LBP Karting, Gravity Rush or Uncharted. It just looks like advergaming for Coke, using moderately recognizable characters.
....Holy shit.
Just because you don't see a huge issue with the power brick, doesn't mean that Manhesterman22 was going to buy an XBO, or that he accepts anything that he doesn't find acceptable.
Why do I come here? Honestly!?
Oh the humanity you have tuck the brick away! Seriously, why do people make such a big deal about this?
IMO, it cheapens them.
And zero calories.
How many of those people ONLY buy Fifa? The number is larger than you think. The whole industry is in the process of figuring out if those people even matter, and they likely don't. People who buy 1 or 2 games a year don't help or detract from anything.
No one, NO ONE! Has bought a Nintendo console to play a sports title in more than 15 years. Things like Fifa and Battlefield matter to a certain group, but they aren't the ones buying Nintendo products. They never ...
Harpooning animals is why I come to Assassins Creed.
That's what I was going to say, this is clearly an issue of getting older. It's still exciting, but it's not crap your pants exciting like it was.
Because video games are something you can cite in a history paper. Puh-Lease, shit happened during World War 2, disputing this with a video game complaining of westerners being revisionists just reeks of plugging your ears and screaming La-LA-LA.
No, the things that happened in CoH2 happened. Just not to the level the game portrays, but that's because it's a video game. When you have two factions, usually it's a good idea from a gameplay perspective to have them d...
SOCOM had plenty of people who did their own thing, I don't feel it's incredibly different from something like Battlefield or Planetside 2 in that respect. Just like SOCOM, you won't win if no one is acting like a team and trying to take objectives.
Also playing WoW by yourself is a great way to have a bad time and miss half the content. You can't raid, do dungeons etc without working with a group of people. I would also enjoy watching someone play Arena's...
You mean Steel Battalion, Front Mission Evolved was the third person shooter. Front Mission used to be a tactical RPG.
You get all the bubbles.
Did you stand up and cheer when they said you were paying for online MP now too?
We haven't seen the PS4 dash demonstrated outside of a bad video that sony released and a few screens. Please, step down from your high pedestal.
Most of Rare left after Viva Pinata, after the Stampers left Rare became a shell of what it once was. There are also plenty of cases of Rareware games selling extremely poorly or under performing critically. But of course, that's all Microsofts fault Perfect Dark Zero would have been better if they had more time right!?
Everyone was also right for sticking to their guns and not buying BK: Nuts N' Bolts, because it wasn't an amazing game that breathed new life int...
Gamestops/EB's at least in my area (Southern Ontario) stopped taking boxed PC games in 06-07. Buying used PC games before that point was also always a pretty major gamble, that's what makes the "DRM" of Steam so easy to stomach (IMO). The flexibility of being able to lend my account to TRUSTED friends (Offline Mode) and having no limit on how many PC's I have my games installed on is also a nice bonus.
I can't abide the idea of fee's on used gam...
You sound like someone who jerks off to the sound of their own voice, but grats for sounding like your head is that far up your ass.
I spent a large chunk of time exploring, flying around and looking at the vistas in a lot of those "Violent" games. I've had plenty of fun meeting characters and have enjoyed the stories of lots of those games, like you listed The Witcher series. Of course killing is part of it, that's what a Witcher does, but to boil it down t...
