After playing blood'n'truth, I can positively say that playstation does''t need ubisoft to make PSVR a success.
From I heard, the idea for ps5vr is to get as many ps5 games playable in vr from the get go.
Ps vita gave me 8 years of great gaming on the go, so switch lite with the upcoming snes n64 and gamecube games coming on the machine plus the gigantic library of games already available and all that for only €200 is a no brainer for me.

Games prices have been increasing for the past two decades so I don't think your crash will ever happen especially when you see how the video game market has grown.
The reason why they re not competing technologically with Sony or Microsoft is because unlike them, gaming is their only business portfolio, therefore selling their consoles at a loss is not an option.
They need to make a profit on each units from day one. Unlike the competition who can loose hundreds on each unit sold without any major financial risk.
Gameboy advance sp is still the best handheld ever imo.
Games like Witcher 3 were meant to be played on a big screen imo.

I'm pretty sure the switch lite will be fine.
The very nature of the joy con detachment makes it very fragile and prone to technical issues imo.
