Some games are not meant to go open world.
Especially when it's trying to keep your head wrapped around a very complex storytelling.
That is why mgs5 did not work. The missions became so repetitive that the story was left as an afterthought.
Mgs5 felt more like mgs portable missions on psp than a fully fledge mgs game imo.
Sadly Microsoft never won against any competition so far. So why would that change?
