won't happen on ps5. We might see some indy games running at 4k/120 but no AAA games.

If by support you mean releasing last decade old games(assassin's creed 3, LA noire, darksiders, résident evil 0,1,4.... Etc) and charging you insane prices for it then yeah, western publishers have really supported the switch.
EA charge you €59 for what is essentially a ps3 version of fifa.
Bethesda is the only one who has really supported the switch so far and has done a really great job.
A lot of people are just gonna upgrade to ps5 without having to worry about backward compatibility, Psvr compatibility... Etc.
It's gonna be as seamless as it can be imo.
Depends of the budget.
Some people will find €499 to much to spend at launch and ps4 by then would have dropped below €200 and with the amazing games catalog, ps4 sales are still on par with switch sales.
I'm convinced Sony will heavily suppprt ps4 for another 2 years at least.

Sales are already down. The x1 sells on average less than 50000 weekly. Without NA, the xbox brand would be already dead by now.
Xbox needs a new console with great games from the get go as soon as possible to try to regain some market share in Europe and rest of the world before ps5 launch.
