I tried the game at gamescom yesterday and I must say the game looks like a ps3 game textures wise but run really great. Still too expensive imo but great effort nonetheless.
The combat moves looked very stiff and Thor voice actor is terrible.
But I guess they can rectify these issues before launch.
Appart from that, the game looks solid.
I played the demo yesterday at gamescom and I must say they have done an amazing job. Yes the textures were low, the draw distance was poor but the frame rate was stable and all the game mechanics seemed to work perfectly.
Is it worth buying???
If you do not own anything other hardware than a switch then yes, but if you own a ps4 Xbox or pc then no. Especially when you realize you can get it for less than €20 on these platforms compared to €59 on switch.
It's a great game but the price is a joke.
I can get it brand new on ps4 for less than £20.
I'll probably get it when it'll go on sale.
What a surprise 😲 😲
Execs trolling the competition is nothing new.
They have been doing that for decades and I do not think that will ever change.
That is part not only of the business but today's culture.
Ps3 was an amazing generation, game wise.
Talk is cheap Phil.
Sony approach to gaming has never changed.
Games, games, games, games. 😉😉
PSVR
😂🤣😂
Oh wait, you serious???
I guess I was wrong.
People do prefer buying over-priced last Gen games than fresh new IP's.
😔😔😔.
The alarming signal is if you look at the switch top ten software sales worldwide for the past 2 years, none of them is a third party game.
Once ps5, scarlett launch, third party support for the switch will be very limited. And if it wasn't for Panic Button and their low cost game conversions.(wolfenstein cost less than a millio...
If you can buy both of them as they both host the greatest games of this generation so far but if you don't mind to wait one year, get a switch now and wait for the ps5 wich will be BC with ps4 software.
I'd rather play a brand new exciting franchise on my switch than any over-priced last Gen remastered any time of the day.
If we want third party publishers to take the switch seriously, we have to support them when they try something designed for it.
Cause if we don't, then all we'll get from then is re release of the same old franchises and nothing more.
That would be sad as I believe switch could truly have a unique and exclusive third party catalog ...
Nintendo is finally getting it right with third party publishers
Now it's up to these publishers to make great games for the hardware instead of just re releasing old properties at ridiculous prices(yes, I'm looking at you Capcom, ubisoft..)
Bethesda, platinum games and even Microsoft are showing the platform the respect it deserves but more can be done imo.
Smash bros did not outsold Rdr2.
Rdr2 is around 26 million while smash bros is at 17 million.
Still a very impressive number considering the game is exclusive on a platform with a smaller baser than the competition(as of now)

Gaming journalism at his finest.
Do you guys realize that Wipeout omega collection launched 2 years ago and received a VR version last year????
Who's the editor at gamingbolt?
A gold fish or an amnesiac? 😂 😂 😂 😂
Arkham city was populated but Arkham night was a ghost town with way too much driving imo.
It's funny how many articles you see about Phil Spencer. It's not like shuei Yoshida or Shigeru Myamoto deserves more attention or accolades. 😏😏
Underachievers are so celebrated this days.
😔 😔 😔 😔
I'm pretty sure I'll have more fun with Iron Man VR than this game tbh. 😉
