Those dastardly miscreants! D:<
What's your goat plan?
^I second this notion. The way of the goat must be heard.
Throw in cross-buy and I'm all for that happening. :D
Can do! Thanks for the pointer. :D
@Tei777 I'm not quite sure how. Nintendo has dabbled in racing games, strategy games, platformer games, turn based RPGs and a number of other genres. If variety is the issue then I think it's safe to say that Nintendo's repertoire is actually pretty full.
Agreed. I'd like to see a new 3D Zelda game now that ALBW is out of the way. A remake of MM seems like the next logical step.
Well you just said Nintendo's become uncreative. But I feel that objectively speaking, Nintendo has some of the most creativity among AAA mainstream video games. They make a lot of Mario and Zelda. If you were a game company, you probably would want to make those too. :P But look at Splatoon, Kid Icarus, Metroid, F-Zero, Animal Crossing and a number of games at their disposal that don't necessarily match other games in the same genre. Microsoft and especially Sony also have a number o...
Dang man, why don't you tell us how you really feel? :P this was a very solid blog for a variety of reasons. The reasoning behind the separation is about as silly as the separation to begin with. But it seems the outcry sparked a Microsoft-like 1080. Check this link out. http://ie-sf.com/bbs/tb.php...
@luis_spartano That is a gross understatement about what Miyamoto has contributed to game design, hardware advancements and the industry as a whole.
PS4 is getting a lot of games, including more indies than Wii U or Xbox One, but a number of the exclusives were delayed such as The Order so if you're looking for exclusives you have to wait a little longer. I don't think it will hurt them too badly since the disparity between consoles is very prevalent.
Thing is, this was based on developer perception of PS4 versus other consoles as oppose to the quality of the games. But I agree that the actual library of any console, not just PS4 is debatable when comparing it to others.
Well, the internet is at your fingertips! Find a team of creative people or start researching and learn about game development! :D
Nintendo ain't invincible and their losses this gen show it, but the concept of them failing and going third party or even filing bankruptcy seems extremely unlikely.
Not surprising. From the beginning they stated their focus would always be games, and rightfully so.
But Wii U uses less electricity than the original Wii...
I disagree. How many devs are making shooters with ink guns/rockets and squid girls? XD
I have a feeling that that anxiousness is shared by many, many devs.
It definitely seems to be a huge help to indies. I saw A Hat in Time gain a lot of traction because of an Alpha Let's Play that Jaltoid did, as well as other LPers. Do you feel that this will translate to AAA development later on or is this just for indies?
Oh dear god... that would be terrifying. XD
