I hope it's true. Since it came from someone working at the booth, I would hope it is indicative of a leak.
Yeah man! He was a judge in some sort of Twilight fanart contest or something of the like and he claimed it was because he was a fan of the books. Good thing it doesn't translate at all to his games!
It's not like Miyamoto's wrong. Nintendo games generally have greater presence and staying power than third party AAA.
Halo once did a promotion with Mountain Dew. They had a drink that looked like Hunter blood. :P
I didn't read it in detail. My friend sent me the link and said "They reversed their decision!" so I wasn't aware it that there are still competitions exclusive to women, and I completely agree that that is wrong. Either go all out or not at all. There shouldn't be segregated tournaments at a single event. I'm not against a women only event, but this is inviting both men and women so all of the events should be gender neutral.
Eye tracking, huh? That's an interesting idea. Wonder what they would use it for?
Such an obscure idea too. You'd never expect it to be so popular! Having the devs be such cool guys with PR is just the icing on a very goat-tastic cake. :P
Some ingenuity, some money, and some guys with a great sense of humor.
They know exactly what it is and you gotta love how they're handling their PR in such a tongue-in-cheek manner. Few devs take this approach these days.
Maybe these guys will patch it into an update for the game. :D
That makes little sense to me. Shouldn't they at least be bothered to do some basic research and attempt to have a minute understanding of what it is they are investing in?
That tells me that Splatoon could potentially have more depth than the E3 reveal suggested. Unlockable weapon loadouts and something akin to prestige. Of course they could just "like" stuff and not actually apply it to their games, like how Hideo Kojima claims he is a fan of Twilight but write infinitely better stories into the MGS series.
Good luck to you too! ;D
Ha! That's a perfect comparison. I was hoping someone would bring up Pain, since that's also a chaotic physics sim.
Little nods like that can really give a game its charm. It's a surprise to me that more devs don't do that.
Thank you for the variety and the opportunities! Not every site gives away free site on a monthly basis. That's extremely generous to the community here, and it's done in such a positive way. I love it! :)
I second this! :D
Most forms of publicity is good, but I think Aliens Colonial Marines suffered from a lot of bad publicity. And just from being a bad game in general.
Goat Escape
A Scape Goat
The Skate Goat
There you go, more titles for future installments. :P
Dang this game looks so good... definitely one of the first games I'm getting when I get a PS4.
