FFVII is actually one of those big Sony games I missed out on back in the day. I was more into platformers, RE and things like that. I tried playing the game about five years ago and I couldn't get into it. I'd like to try it again though, mostly because I watched Advent Children and really enjoyed it.
Needs to be remade last year.
The textures in this game are pretty high quality. but anyway, that's not the point. Look at Nano Assault Neo. That game is really gorgeous for a Wii U title. My buddy and I played coop on his Wii U. It runs at 60fps and it has a tun of physics and light effects. This developer and Retro Studios have both said Wii U is very strong hardware, and I believe them. Not to the point where the hardware comes to the same strength as PS4, but still not a slouch especially in comparison to the seve...
This is cute. Though I'm not too fond of the GLaDOS Miku recolor...
I'd have to concur with this. Nintendo really cannot afford anymore flub-ups. That's why I'm hoping they're at E3 with a lot of games to show.
Hate to say it but I agree somewhat. Most of what I want to play in this list I already have on the PS3 (that which being Borderlands 2 and Sly collection). I might check out those lower profile games though.
Dang, that's quite an issue. Seems like small pickings for a Jimquisition, but I'm glad he talked about it.
That's really cool. They modeled the NY streets so closely that people who actually live in the city will be able to navigate more easily? Gotta give them credit, that's some attention to detail!
This one I never got the hype for. It was fun, but it became very repetitive very quickly. Travis is a fun character though. I'd definitely like see more of him someday. But first, Killer7 sequel! Make it happen Suda51!
Ah, total classic. I loved this game. Even as a classic RE fan I really enjoyed how it changed and innovated the franchise. Such a shame RE5 and RE6 took a huge dump on all of that progress.
Not that I can knock Capcom for releasing a GOOD version for the PC, but how many more times do they intend to resell RE4? At this point they could straight up remake the game.
Isn't that odd? How you have a handful of AAA developers complain about the Wii U hardware but these guys seem to have no trouble working with it at all and taking full advantage of its strengths? It's a shame these devs aren't more well known, or people wouldn't STILL have this dumb misconception about the Wii U being weaker than the 360.
Fish AI is more innovative than Cranky Kong.
Keep in mind Cole was from the first (and technically second) InFamous games. Think back to Crash and Spyro. Any character almost always have to have water be a hazard in their first game. :P
'Tis quite a good jab, I would still say.
Don't you mean Mario 64's? :P
To be perfectly honest, I don't care about these sales numbers anymore. My stance hasn't changed, I'm getting a PS4 over Xbox One. But these dumb squabbles over numbers is just tiresome. Xbox One is not selling as much as PS4, that's a fact. That doesn't suddenly mean that Xbox One is a total failure or even selling like crap. At first I was really happy to see Sony succeeding as much as they are in comparison to last gen's wonky start. Now I'm just tired of using ...
I use my laptop for gaming, I own a PS3 and intend to get a PS4 and Wii U because both have such awesome games I want. The idea that a gamer has to relegate themselves to one console (even one like me who can't afford to buy consoles willy-nilly) is just dumb. There is great content all over. You just have to open your eyes and see it.
Remnants of the pro-Microsoft media of yesteryear methinks. There was a lot of pro-Xbox bias last generation. PS4 is doing fantastically. No denying that. That being said Xbox is selling decent numbers at worst. It would definitely be best not to count it out yet.
I'm no hater, but I had a hard time playing it when I tried it for the first time. I couldn't get a grasp on how the combat system worked and I basically got my butt kicked. Before you say "you just suck at it" let me say that, yes, I did suck at FFVII. That's why I'd like to try the game again and give it another go. A remake may also help gamers like me better engage with such an old classic.
