Pac-Man Homebrew Edition.
Well it helps to do research.
Game journalism is great, isn't it? :/
If the new guys have respect for the original trilogy then I bet they can do some cool stuff with it. Could be worse. It could be directed by the guy who was going to direct the movie. He caused a bunch of controversy by trying to turn it into The Godfather.
That is a fair point. I'm not saying the creative process won't be impacted. But even if it is, it isn't guaranteed to be bad. This is Sony's star franchise. I think they can make it work even with new team members.
LOL This ain't Street Fighter. :P
They really do need to remake those games and offer the RE4 over the shoulder style as a toggle option so that new and old players can enjoy it.
I'd welcome that, provided they keep the audio assets the same. Paul Mercier needs to be Leon Kennedy again. And RE4 has a badass soundtrack.
It definitely seems that way. Japan loves the handheld market, that's for sure. My hope is that more of us Sony fans get reintroduced to Japanese games and the Japanese game market in general. I feel the industry is a little too western dominated.
All I can say to that is that you never know.
Wii U is not too much bigger than the Wii though.
I'm not sure if an open world Mario is something Nintendo even wants to tackle, but if they do I'd be very interested. A new Mario concept is definitely in order.
Now hold on, a change in writers may not mean huge changes. If the director and producers all changed as well, I would be a lot more concerned, but a writer still has to follow what the producer and director wants.
The Vita certainly seems to be another haven for JRPGs just like the 3DS... this handheld JRPG comeback is quite interesting.
Those are some pretty big predictions. Not so sure about a new Mario this soon, or even a Wii U redesign, but I will welcome both. What I want is a new Metroid, Miyamoto's new IP and some footage for Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem.
@LKHGFDSA
Then why is it exclusive to Wii U and 3DS? :P
I'm a huge Metal Gear fan, I've never paid for any Alpha build of any game and I still think Ground Zeroes is priced way too high. If I'm paying $30 I should be getting at least a few hours of story related content, not just one or two. I've played $5 games that are longer and more replayable.
I'd suggest doing what I'm doing and wait for the price to get stupid cheap. Like $10 or less, which is what it should have been from the start.
I heard that version has mods that lets you play it more like an HD remake. Now that's something. :P
No, no, those are actually forms of torture! GAWD, no one ever gets that right! D:<
