I don't think anyone should, but you can say the same thing happens when devs talk positively about XSX.
It really doesn't matter to me if games are cross-gen for 1-2 years of a consoles life. Chances are, the games that are planned to release the 1st year or 2, were planned for current gen anyways when they started development 2-5 years ago.
Crackdown 1 was one of the underrated gems of last gen. I loved that game. Crackdown 2 was crackdown 1 with added zombies and gave the map a paint job. Disappointing, but still enjoyed it for what it was with the added wingsuit, toybox mode and 4 player co-op. Crackdown 3 was basically what Crackdown 2 should have been.
Which reality is that?
It's pretty funny how you bring up past history from 9+ years ago. So much has changed within the Xbox decision since then. Continue to live in the past while I enjoy how things are now and in the future.
Investment and acquisition are two different things.
A really good read! I'm glad these new studio are having a very positive experience within MS.
I could see them doing that.
If you need psnow, then nope.
Finally all the og's are in Gears 5. Better late than never. After reading the latest info on Op 4 and 5, I'm excited for these changes. New ranking system and revised playlist, more maps(bloody finally), separation of character and classes(Thank god), new store and earnable currency. All good changes.
Like I said, depends on which game you are talking about. Halo 5 is only on Xbox One, MCC is on 2. Let's not forget Destiny 2 is F2P, so anyone can play it on the 5-6 platforms it's on. To each their own, if you like Destiny more than cool, doesn't change the fact people are excited to see Halo Infinite gameplay soon, and yes, the game will look great regardless of being cross-gen. Please proof read anything you write.
There is this great thing called spell check. I find it hard to take anyone seriously when I have to reread something more than three times to understand. I'll just say this, Destiny 1 is on about 5 different platforms, compared to Halo being on 1(maybe 2 depending on the which game you talk about). I would hope Destiny sold better.
I forgot about Everwild. Definitely want to see more of that. Fight Sim is probably a given too.
Jeff Grubbs said on twitter today, expect to see Playgrounds new RPG at the show, but The Initiatives game wont be at the show. MS is probably saving it for XO20. It's disappointing we probably won't see it this month, but I get it. Matt Booty already said earlier, we will see The Initiatives new game in the next 12 months, so we know it's in the cards for 2020.
It looks like we will for sure see Halo Infinite, Fable, Hellblade 2, Psychonauts 2, Gears Tactics f...
Releasing games on Steam wasn't out of the kindness of their heart. Sales on the Windows Store weren't cutting it.
I'm sure that is what they plan on doing.
I'm so hyped! 1 hour preshow to go along with it too.
There are a lot of shitty sad people out there. Attacking someone and threatening them is crossing the line. If you don't like something, then fine, voice your opinion why you don't like it, but attacking some directly is childish and pathetic.
I'm ready for some Halo Infinite info. We've gotten more info from mega construx toys than 343i this year... At least we won't have to wait much longer.
I didn't realize Blooper Team, Codemasters and several other devs were affiliated with MS. Let's not forget the former Sony Dev of 14 years praising the XSX, that was never made it's way to n4g. I mean, considering Sony is the market leader, it makes sense devs would praise them more than MS.
