I just don't see this game performing well regardless of gamepass or not, based on what I've seen of it. At least with gamepass, he has the opportunity to be featured on it, which he even said on twitter, he would like his game on it if MS let him.

I wouldn't be surprised if they showed something during the Xbox pre-show about it.

Ignorance is bliss.

Sony does the same shit.

He was clearly talking about cloud gaming which everyone on here seems to take out of context.

I looked through the list of games and there is some really cool stuff there.

I got into the game later this year and found myself really enjoying even playing with random people. There is really nothing quite like it. With a lot of multiplayer games, if you get into it late, usually you're way behind everyone else who is level whatever, but with a game like this it doesn't matter at all. All you need is a solid crew and you'll be set for a great time.

Probably because they would rather sell to facebook than google or amazon. They were losing millions on it. Look up the viewer numbers for Mixer compared to other streaming platforms. Mixer only grew .02% year over year viewership.

I don't think there was really much more they could have done to make Mixer successful. They even signed several large streamers and that wasn't enough. It not like Mixer was bad streaming platform because wasn't. Hands down better than Facebook, but even Facebook has seen steady growth, where Mixer wasn't. It was time to cut their losses.

That must mean, anyone with a ps4pro who wants a ps5 must be unhappy with their purchase then? Got it.

They would be selling the console at huge loss at $200. They are probably making a loss when selling at $299. Once Lockhart releases, it will be irrelevant due to the price of it.

Who is it saying eff you to? If someone owns the console, it's still getting support for quite awhile. If they don't, why would they care now if it's discontinued with next gen right around the corner.

How does X1X being discontinued effect people who already have the console? It will still be getting new games with enhancements for sometime. If someone doesn't own one, why would they care with next gen beginning in 4 months? Xbox one didn't turn out how MS hoped this gen, but did that stop them from supporting it.

Xbox has been getting a bunch of crap for supporting X1/X1X after next gen starts, but suddenly these same people care about X1X being discontinued? I...

Well said.

They will continue to sell the X1S because it's the best selling X1 console and they can offer it as the budget gaming console at $199 once next gen consoles start. X1S $199, Lockhart $299(likely price), and XSX $499(likely price).

My problem with the whole, releasing gamepass filler argument is, why would MS staff up all their studios and give them bigger budgets and more time just to release gamepass filler. It doesn't make sense.

2059d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

There is no point in manufacturing X1X when Lockhart is going to take it's place by offering a better experience at a similar price.

Last time I checked, xbox was trashed this gen for lack of Japanese support and games. Now they seem to be attempting to do better, but now no one cares according to you. I think your the clueless one.

They didn't buy 15+ studios. They acquired 7 and built 2 in the last 2 years. They currently have 15 studios.

MS has an upperhand in gaming vs Google so beating them in streaming shouldn't be terribly hard.
